Story
My name is Irene. I was a momma dog at the shelter. My puppies have all grown up and gone to a foster home- now it's my time to shine. I'm great on a leash and enjoy neighborhood walks. When we go outside for a walk, I collect sticks and carry them as my prize. I really love toys and my favorite game is to grab a tennis ball, squeaky ball, or plush toy and fetch or be chased. Sometimes I entertain myself by chasing a giggle ball around-that's my favorite toy of all. I’m crate trained, but I like to take afternoon naps in my dog bed. My foster home consists of one other dog, and we love to play together. I would do great in a forever home with other dogs or the queen of my own castle. Story
Introducing Reyna, the regal and affectionate Rottweiler mix who lives up to her name as the Queen of the Good Girls. Reyna is ready to reign supreme in her forever home, surrounded by love and care. Reyna's journey began when she was found on the highway, abandoned and in desperate need of help. Despite her challenging start in life, Reyna's resilience and loving nature shone through. She captured the hearts of those who discovered her, and her transformation began. This beautiful girl is a Rottweiler mix, displaying the distinctive markings and strong physique of her breed. While her exact mix may be a mystery, her gentle and loving demeanor sets her apart as a special companion. Reyna is best suited to a home with older kids who can understand and respect her needs. Although she is a sweetheart, her size and strength may be better suited to older children who can handle her with care. She is not compatible with cats, so a feline-free household is necessary. When it comes to her fellow canines, Reyna prefers larger dogs. A meet-and-greet is recommended to ensure compatibility and a harmonious living environment, however she can go to a family out of town who either has no others or an easy going dog. Reyna thrives on positive interactions and socialization, making her a wonderful companion for those with existing canine family members. This majestic girl is crate-trained and does not experience separation anxiety. She is comfortable spending time in her crate and will appreciate having a safe and cozy space to call her own. Reyna has already learned the simple trick of sitting for treats, showcasing her intelligence and willingness to please. Reyna has a list of favorite things that bring her joy. She relishes car rides, delighting in the wind blowing through her fur as she accompanies her family on their adventures. Rolling in the grass and exploring the neighborhood during walks are among her cherished pastimes. Reyna loves running and exercising her energetic nature, so an active lifestyle is essential for her well-being. When it's time to unwind, Reyna appreciates soft blankets and toys that provide comfort and entertainment. She adores spending time with her beloved humans, soaking up their affection and companionship. Reyna is a loyal and devoted companion, always ready to be by your side. While Reyna has her preferences, there are a couple of dislikes to note. She is not fond of cats, and water is not her favorite element. Understanding and respecting these preferences will help ensure a harmonious home environment for Reyna. Reyna's story is one of resilience and triumph over adversity. From her initial discovery, where she was found dumped on the highway, to her miraculous transformation into a loving and gentle soul, she has shown incredible strength and a capacity for love. If you're searching for a royal canine companion, Reyna is waiting to be crowned the queen of your heart and home. With her regal presence, gentle nature, and unwavering loyalty, she will bring immeasurable joy to your life. Welcome Reyna into your family, and let her reign over a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventures by your side. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Rizzo is ready to show you a sham-rockin good time! He a young dog weighing in at about 45lbs. The only thing he needs this St Patrick’s day is you, a good belly rub, treats and a ball. Rizzo loves other dogs but can be picky about the people in his life. But if you are this little leprechauns person, boy does he love you. He is sure to be the pot of gold at the end of your rainbow!Rizzo is a young dog with young dog energy. Don’t let that deter you, he is also a great nap taker. Rizzo is looking for his forever home and can’t wait to be your little helper. Rizzo would do great in any home without small children but would thrive in an all female home. He is unsure of men but warms up quickly with a few treats. He is great on a leash and a perfect little car rider. He would make a fantastic hiking or running buddy for someone and he loves to play with balls. So much so that he entertains himself with one. He is great at taking commands and is a fast learner. He has mastered sit, crate and come. He is also doing great with stay. Rizzo just wants to be where you are and would make a great couch buddy for the cold winter!Rizzo is a former street dog turned cuddle bug. He enjoys nap time, playing with toys and getting all the love you have to give. He goes in his crate fantastically but when he hears you he wants out for more love! He does wonderful on a leash and isn’t hard to handle. He would make a great hiking buddy or running partner. He really wants to make new friends but is sometimes unsure, especially of larger men. No worries though, he warms up quickly if you have a treat to share with him! He hasn’t completely given up his street dog ways because he loves to explore the fenced in yard. Rizzo would love to be yours more so if you have a ball to throw, a treat or just all your love to give. Rico is ready to fully give up his street dog ways and finally find his forever home with you!Rizzo and his foster brother received their Christmas box from Chewy and they’re wondering what’s in it!! Rizzo has settled in at his new fosters house and so far he loves playing with his foster brother, running through the yard and barking at the horses next door. An active family or person would be great. He is the sweetest little guy at 45lbs and wants to be where his person is. He is always up for a play date or a nap, whatever his person is doing. He is a great car rider. He already knows sit and we are working on stay but he is picking it up quickly. Get ready to meet your new best friend!Rizzo aka Rico update: 2yrs, 35-40lb male He's settling in pretty well now after 3 weeks. He does have some allergies that require medicine as of now, but that could always change. He gets along with the 10yr old girl and with 3 of our 4 dogs...the 4th is our alpha female and his dominance starts to show, so slow and steady or he would make an excellent only dog! He plays a little rough so he's learning how to be easy. He loves to chew and is full of energy, so make sure he has plenty of toys/bones to keep him out of trouble! He's a love bug who must lay/sleep on you versus beside you! He's not a huge fan of the crate, but he tolerates it ok. He would love to have a family to call his own!!!Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters. The application is the first step.
