Story
Rhodi is a full-blooded rottweiler who will be celebrating his 4th birthday on December 5th. He has been a part of our family since we adopted him from a reputable breeder at 8 weeks old. Rhodi is very loving, intelligent, loyal and well-trained (knows commands in German!) We have three young sons ranging from 11 years old to 9 months. We also have a smaller dog and two cats. We trust Rhodi completely around our children and pets. He has never shown signs of aggression - just a large baby with endless love! We are looking to rehome Rhodi to another loving family that has more time and attention to show him.

Well, HOWDY!!! I still can't believe i am IN TEXAS!! My story may be a little convoluted but suffice it to say... the OK Corral has nothing on me! I was not fighting the outlaws.. i was not fighting at all! I was just trying to figure out why I was saved and in a wonderful rescuers home.... then... back into a high kill shelter?? UNTIL, I was saved by ANOTHER rescuer and was transported from Louisiana to TEXAS and here I am! I LOVE everyone, I want a home that will walk me a couple of times a day and then chill out with me on their couch :) I don't have a whole bunch of energy but that is PERFECT for a lower energy home. I came to the rescue with heart worms but am going to complete my treatment by Christmas!! What a gift that will be! I am now looking for my family, someone who will love me for who I am.. a little low rider, kinda chunky but as loving as the day is long! ADOPT ME!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

She exudes a lively yet gentle personality, blending the intelligence of a Labrador with the loyalty of a Rottweiler. Berta is already showing signs of being a quick learner and thrives on companionship and interaction. Her warm and affectionate nature makes her a wonderful addition to a home that can provide her with the attention and activity she loves. Thank you for considering adopting a new family member. Memphis area adoption fee is $200      All dogs are spayed or neutered {unless medical issues prohibit the surgery}, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested {if old enough} and treated if necessary. They also are de-wormed and start heartworm and flea prevention when rescued. It is continued until adopted. Adopter is furnished with their 1st month's heartworm prevention. ** Out of State adoption fee is $425  and includes a $150.00 the non refundable transportation fee paid to an approved animal transportation company. Several states require the dog to be quarantined 48 hours before pickup. The adopter pays the quarantine fee at time of pick up. Story
Zeus is a sweet, loving dog. He loves to run, play, dig and thoroughly enjoys chasing his paws. Once we found some durable toys, he did a much better job at not being so destructive with them. We have a 5yo, 8lb Maltipoo with whom he gets along; they enjoy playing together. He also does really well around kids. He is protective but not aggressive. He didn't get much training but knows the basics: how to sit, lay down, stop, walk. We walk him occasionally, but it isn't done daily because of our schedules. Hence, our decision to rehome him. Because of our work schedules, he isn't allowed to be out and play as much as we would all like. He does have a limp that he's had since a tiny puppy. The x-ray they did at the vet showed only inflammation, which bone health gummies have seemed to help it heal on its own. He’s currently on an active Banfield plan until March. The adoption fee can be negotiated, but I want to ensure commitment and seriousness of caring for him.

Meet Chili Dog! This sweet girl will steal your heart! After a rough start in life, Chili is healing and thriving! Chili is full of kisses, cuddles, and tail wags! She loves people, going on walks, running around outside, and car rides. Chili is great in the car! Even though she loves to be active, Chili is also content to lounge around inside. When her foster parents work from home, she's happy to lay on her dog bed near by their desk. Chili is getting better on the leash and responds to commands such as: sit, stay, and come. She is "treat motivated and seems to get with responding to commands daily. Chili is wonderfully fully potty-trained. Her foster parents are happy to report she's never once had an accident. Chili is also crate trained. She responds quickly when told to go in the crate, although she would rather just lounge on the bed. Chili does well with other dogs she has met. She loves to play and would likely do well with another active companion dog but she would also do well as an only dog. We do not know if Chili has been around kids, although when walked past a playground, she excitedly watches the children and wags her tail.
