Coco is the sweetest of girls and is looking for her forever family. She is a little shy and prefers a calm environment. She loves other dogs and plays well with her 3 foster siblings. She loves a good game of chase, and she loves to chew on antlers and toys that squeak. Coco gets excited to go on car rides and is ready to go whenever you pick up the keys. She rides very well in the car. She has had some training and is great with 'sit' and 'down' and offering her paw. She is working on reinforcing the 'stay' and 'come' commands with her foster parents. She would do best with a fenced yard and supervision (at first anyhow). Her previous family reported a tendency to run off. Her foster family has seen no such behavior. Coco is housetrained and is a bit afraid of her crate - which is being worked on. She sleeps all night on her dog bed in the master bedroom. She is a cuddler and wants to be close to her people. If you are looking for a sweet, loyal companion, then Coco is the girl for you!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. My adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $350. See Courtesy Posting Disclaimer * Mackie weighs about 50 pounds, and we think she is a boxer/ pit bull mix. She is very sweet and house-trained. She is a little concerned when men approach her standing up and will back away. She is OK with men if they are sitting down and giving her treats. She is fine with little kids and older kids. She is dog-aggressive at the vet hospital where she is boarding, when she is in her kennel and dogs are walked by on a leash. At the place she used to live she had lots of dog companions and was not aggressive towards them. She also had some cats living there and was not aggressive towards them. She is spayed, on Simparica Trio for heartworm prevention and flea/ tick control. She is up to date on her vaccines. She is a very good girl who will be a great companion.
