After a couple of weeks of patience, kindness, and safety, this beautiful girl is finally beginning to blossom — and she is so ready for her new life. Now cleared for adoption, Amara is showing us what a truly special dog she is. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is gentle and patient with children. Her calm energy makes her easy to love, and her soft, soulful eyes say everything she can’t. She’s well-mannered on a leash, doesn’t jump on people, and keeps her kennel clean and dry. Amara is the kind of dog who wants to be close, wants to be loved, and wants to trust — she’s just waiting for the right family to show her what forever feels like. She came to us off the euthanasia list at a local shelter after being found with her teats full of milk, but no puppies in sight. The shelter was concerned about mastitis, and thankfully, she made it out just in time. Now safe and cared for, Claire is ready for the happy ending she deserves.And truly—she is a perfect dog.Claire has a very submissive, gentle demeanor with both people and other dogs. She is incredibly affectionate and absolutely loves being pet and snuggled. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to be close to you, soaking up love and giving it right back.She does wonderfully with other dogs and is great with kids, making her a fantastic fit for a family home.
