Introducing Clara! Clara is an adventurous little girl who just wants to spend time with her people and playing with doggy friends. Daddy is an 80 lb Rottweiler and Momma is a 25 lb white floofy mix. Clara looks all rottie with the exception of the telltale white floof stripe on her chest. Of course we’re working on all the basic puppy things - house and crate training, and is a quick leaner. She’s been great with the other dogs at her foster’s home - dogs of all sizes. Clara is an adorable pup and would love to meet you!

Say "Hello!" to our Ms. Sadie! An approximately 14-16 months old purebred Rottweiler, Sadie embraces the full joyous exuberance of any adolescent Rottie but imbued with a total sweetness and gentleness with people of all ages. Being a Rottie, she brings a physicality to her play and an intelligence that makes her want to explore and learn about her environment. She is an excellent candidate for obedience training as both a learning and bonding experience. She would make a good hiking or even biking companion with guidance - her finder reported that she liked to travel alongside their golf cart as they drove around their property. Sadie showed up at a small farm on April 23rd in semi-rural southeastern Dallas County, near a regular dumping ground for dogs. She had already made herself at home eating from the dog dishes on the porch and drinking from the pond when the homeowner came across her. They offered her a treat and Sadie decided to stay. Owners never came forward even with the large amount of online cross-postings and flyers about her in the area. During this same time, numerous Rotties had been found as strays in the surrounding locales which suggested a plausible scenario of a backyard breeder abandoning them all. Sadie was allowed to stay until a foster and rescue could be found, but by necessity due to recent loss of a spouse compounded with surgery could not remain long term with the finder. Volunteer fosters reached out and Sadie is now currently available through Flying B Animal Rescue & Sanctuary while she's still in Texas. Sadie is completely vetted, spayed and microchipped and weighs a healthy and fit 64 lbs currently. She enjoys playing with toys and will gladly fetch whichever one you choose to throw. She also loves to play a good game of tug. Sadie is dog friendly, tolerant of cats (will bark though if they hiss at her), gentle with children although should be monitored around those younger than 6. She is crate trained and housebroken. Sadie does require monitoring as she is still much like a puppy in her explorations and some things discovered should not be chewed on. Ready to welcome sweet Sadie into your life and home? Maxine is an active girl who's always on the go. She gets along with other dogs but needs to be introduced slowly to new friends as she does have a dominant nature. She has some basic obedience training and walks well on a leash and knows how to sit and catch her treats. Maxine is heartworm positive and receiving treatment. All meds for her treatment are provided with her adoption.

Cub is HOT-PAWS longest stay dog. He came to us as a stray in 2020, and although he has had a little interest, no one has actually come to meet him. Initially he was heartworm positive, and part of our No Dog Left Behind Project, but after treatment he currently tests negative. He last received Pro-Heart 12 in August of 2024 This boy is friendly. He is good with some other dogs, particularly females and some more submissive males. He is not good with cats and small animals and would be careful with him and small dogs. Despite his age, he remains active. He walks well on a leash and crates okay. He requires a secure fence. This handsome boy would love a chance to find a home to call his own.

If you are a fan of Rottweiler, you will fall in love with this young lady immediately. She is a beautiful representative of her breed and just as sweet as they come. A little reserved with people she does not know (and that is a good thing), she warms up quickly and enjoys having her ears scratched. She has been introduced to quite a few of the other dogs at Furry Friendzy and was fine with all. Even initiated play on her own. How about it? We think Nessa would look just great on your sofa!
