He is a large baby who doesn't know his own strength right now so until he is a little more aware of himself I would recommend a home without small children. He is a mama's boy who follows her everywhere but loves a good rough house with dad!

Hey guys! My name is Gordie & I’m the sweetest ball of energy you’ll ever meet. I don’t think I’ve ever met a stranger (dog or human) & if I have, we were definitely friends when we parted! I get along GREAT with other dogs & have an absolute blast every single morning when I get to go out with my playgroup. Older/dominant dogs can be put off by my explosive personality sometimes but I usually calm down with some correction. The girls at the shelter think that I’ll make a fantastic family dog once I’m in a home with a good routine & more trips outside to play! I came into the shelter extremely underweight, but the girls are working on getting weight back on me & we’re also working on controlling my energy… it’s pretty hard because I’m still a puppy, but I’d do almost anything for a treat so they think training is going to be a breeze. I am very sweet and gentle with people and enjoy love and cuddles. I am dog selective so if you have another pet in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125 and that includes my spay, microchip, rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and heartworm test. Meet and greets are by approved application only. All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm.
