Story
Storm may come across a little shy when you first meet her, but don`t let that fool you – she’s a sweet girl who warms up really quickly! She feels safer to approach you when you’re squatting, but after you pet her she’s happy to come up to you whenever! Storm and her siblings Raven A048827 and Nala A048828 came into our shelter originally as puppies in 2025, and their finder adopted all three of them. Sadly the ended up being surrendered back to our shelter as adults. Storm is still adjusting back to shelter life, so she appreciates a calm, gentle approach.Storm walks great on leash and loves to go on walks. Loose in the play yard she’ll sit calmly beside you for as long as you’re willing to pet her. She also takes treats gently from your hand. She is friendly but independent, content to explore her surroundings before stopping by for some love. She isn`t interested in toys and doesn`t appear to know any commands just yet, but she`s polite, gentle, and eager to build trust with people. If you`re looking for a quiet companion who simply needs a little time to settle in, Storm could be the perfect match. Give her a chance to decompress, and we think you`ll be rewarded with a loyal friend who just needed someone to love her.

Story
Raven is a gentle soul who`s still learning that people can be trusted. Her world has changed quite a bit over the last year. She first came to us in March 2025 and was adopted, but recently returned to the shelter alongside her canine companions, Storm A048826 and Nala S048828. It`s a lot of change for any dog, and Raven is still adjusting to kennel life.Raven tends to hang back nervously. She’s understandably cautious and likes to keep some distance at first. She does allow gentle pets and quietly accepts affection though. She seems most confident on leash and walks perfectly ladylike on it. Raven is looking for a patient adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to settle in. With stability, kindness, and a chance to decompress, this sweet girl will continue to blossom and show more of her true personality every day.
