Hello, my name is Ellie Benelli! If you are looking to have only 1 pet in your life, I am your girl. I am overall a really sweet girl, and haven’t had any issues when it comes to meeting new people. I would do best in a home with much older children or adults only. I am a little more of a higher energy pup, however I enjoy hanging out in my kennel when needed. I am completely crate and house trained! I do have my indestructible crate that will come with me, as I am not a fan of loud noises. Thunder, gun shots, fireworks etc really scare me and I tend to break out of normal crates to try and seek safety. I love being outside! I enjoy running, playing, chasing squirrels and I LOVE the water! I will also play fetch with you for hours if I could! I would make the ideal travel buddy, as I enjoy car rides and going on new adventures! I do require a secure, fully fenced in yard. My adoption fee is $200 locally in Houston, TX and $350 out of state (includes travel fee and health certificate). Rayla has such a sweet and gentle soul. She just wants someone to love her as much as she loves everyone! She`s very sweet and friendly. She can be a smidge on the timid side, but it just makes you want to hug and cuddle her to surround her with love. She`s always so happy to be around people and likes to stay as close to you as possible. Rayla walks beautifully on a leash without pulling, but she`s a little shy about the process of getting it put on. We think she may be potty trained already. She`s a calm girl with a lower energy level. Being pet and eating treats are her favorite hobbies, and she always takes her snacks gently from your hand. Rayla is very interested in the noise squeaky toys make. She`s always eager to please and will bring the toy back when you throw it, but she`s so gentle that she won`t actually squeak them herself.

Big Boy is an affectionate, friendly guy hiding behind hazel eyes that might make you a little nervous. He can do some serious staring while he is sizing you up. He might bark too because he is distrustful of strangers. Once he knows and accepts you he'll give you kisses and you'll have no choice but to accept them. He is strong and determined and knows what he wants. He was found as a stray and stayed with his finder for several days. He rode well in her car and got along with other dogs he encountered. He weighs 65 pounds and is incredibly strong on a leash and goes where he wants to go. He is curious and wants to check out every single smell. He may not be house trained so please be patient if you need to teach him. We don't know how he'll behave around children but for now we are requiring that he go into an adult-only home because of his strength and behavior around people he doesn't know. He knows the sit command. He is a sweet, affectionate dog but it might take a bit of time for you to see what a treasure he is. (tw 5/28/2023)

Burrito was fending for himself on the streets, sleeping under bushes and porches for a couple of weeks before being rescued. He had a much smaller companion that he was protecting and he did a great job. He rode well in his finder's car and walks well on a leash. He weighs 47 pounds and is curious and likes to explore. He is active, strong, jumpy, and athletic. He is also eager, determined and smart. He might know something about house training because he tends to do his business outside when given the opportunity. Please be patient if he needs a refresher course. He does not like being in a kennel and restricts returning to it. He might even get a little nippy about it when he gets anxious. He enjoyed playing with the neighborhood children before he was rescued. He is affectionate and happy. He has been extremely friendly at the shelter and trying to be best friends with everyone he sees. Please offer handsome Burrito the home and family he deserves. (tw 6/8/2023)
