Story
Luna is a fun loving, very energetic dog with a big personality. She will be 3 years old in July. The best environment for her is a house with a fenced backyard, lots of play time, and a place she can run around. She's very sweet, although sometimes hyper, she really just needs exercise. She is inexperienced with children and small dogs, but wants to play with everyone. Luna is very playful, and loves nothing more than a good game of fetch.

Story
PLEASE DIRECT INQUIRIES AND APPLICATIONS FOR ADOPTABLE DOGS TO OUR FACEBOOK. WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS VIA EMAIL DUE TO LIMITED STAFF. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ This sweet, squishy-faced girl is one of a growing number of homeless dogs born during the COVID shutdown, loved in isolation, but given no tools to manage the big outside world. Left to herself in a world she had never experienced and doesn’t understand, Petunia was picked up as a stray shortly after 4th of July. Likely traumatized by the fireworks, scared by all the strange sights, sounds and smells in a high-kill shelter, she made it out alive only because the shelter staff recognized her strengths and worked hard to find a placement, and RED took a chance that the frightened, shutdown girl they met would blossom into a beautiful ambassador of her breed. While Petunia is still a work in progress, we would like to find a home where she can really blossom with training and further socialization. Petunia is 2-3 years old and small for a Rottie at 75 lbs. She knows basic commands and is crate trained. She has the intelligence of her breed and loves to play with her male foster brother. She is still scared of the big world and of strangers but she adjusts more quickly, and we believe she will eventually be that ambassador. Petunia needs a home with adults who are committed to training. She will not do well with children at this point and she has not been tested with cats. She will need a well-fenced yard where she can safely play fetch, which she loves. A yard with underground (Invisible) fencing will not be considered for placement. If you think you can provide the life Petunia deserves and the training and socialization she needs, please see the application process at http://www.rescueeverydog.org/Adoption.php. Petunia is being fostered in the Port Orchard area, and meet & greets will take place there. Her adoption donation is $300 Most dogs require a fenced yard. We seek fully fenced yards with a physical, visible fence. Typically, the fence must be connected to the house/ a door in the home, and the dog safe fenced area must exclude driveway and car access. Shock/electronic fences will not be approved for most dogs. A sturdy, high quality crate is also required (due to safety concerns, no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in Washington and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. THIS DOG IS IN FOSTER CARE IN KITSAP COUNTY, WA. MEET AND GREETS WILL TAKE PLACE THERE AS WELL. REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION: - Securely and visibly fenced yard 5 ft+ - Like sized dog only or no other pet home - Sturdy/safe crate, due to the safety hazard wire crates will be not be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). - Western Washington (WA), and possibly Northern Oregon locations at caseworker discretion. No other out of state adoptions at this time. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adoption please fill out an application here: http://www.rescueeverydog.org/Adoption.php Answers to the application MUST be sent via message on Facebook (we do not receive applications sent via email) 1. Once the application is received it will be reviewed by that animals caseworker. 2. If your application is seen as a good fit to the pet you are applying for we will request photos of your fenced yard as well as your current crate or the crate you plan on purchasing. 3.
