HI - I'M PHOENIX! I'm a handsome and healthy 10-year-old Rottie-Dobie mix in need of a foster or forever home. I lost my previous foster home due to no fault of mine, and I really miss having people around to snuggle and take me for walks and other outings. A little bit about me: I was rescued from a shelter a couple years ago, where I was a shelter favorite, and am currently waiting for someone to adopt me. I weigh about 80 lbs. Despite my age, I am active and I'm a very loving dog. I'll do well with an active person or people who can take me for walks and hikes. I have many positive traits - I am affectionate, I walk well on a leash, and I am a loyal and sweet dog. I will be your best friend for life. I also prefer to have my person or people around, but that can be expected of most dogs! I am not a barker unless it is warranted. I can also be a bit protective of my people and our property, which can be a good thing. While I get along with dogs I know (especially female dogs around my size), I can be reactive on a leash toward dogs I don't know. However, I really do like female dogs - I currently love to hang out and go on walks with my girlfriend Darla, a Doberman. And I love human attention and affection - I am affectionate and caring. I'd do well with a strong owner, too. Please email for an application. I'm currently still in Southern California, but can be transported to you in Washington.

He was found alongside two small dogs and has seemed to do well with other dogs, showing that he’s got a friendly and easygoing personality.When he first came to us, Hamilton was dealing with painful, bloody ears from untreated ear mites. Thankfully, he’s now been treated and is feeling so much better — and it shows!
