Sooo my husband has a small warehouse in So Cal and when he went there in Jan a homeless lady and her dog were resting against the overhead door. Well it's now been 5 months and he has allowed her to stay in the warehouse when he's there each month. And it has become obvious that the "puppy" has"become much to strong for her to handle , and therefore we need to find her a good home. We cannot keep her, we have 2 small dogs and a rabbit. Scooby is almost 2 yo and so sweet n friendly, maybe too friendly. She loves everyone she meets. She "LOVES TO RUN" did I say she loves to run, well she does. This is probably due to her being on a 6ft rope for most of her life. When Hubby takes her to the dog park she just goes full out running with any dog that will run with her. She seems to be more friendly and attracted to women. She's smart, loving and loves kids . She so deserves to find a family who can give her the life an animal who is this loving deserves. Thank you.

HI - I'M PHOENIX! I'm a handsome and healthy 10-year-old Rottie-Dobie mix in need of a foster or forever home. I lost my previous foster home due to no fault of mine, and I really miss having people around to snuggle and take me for walks and other outings. A little bit about me: I was rescued from a shelter a few years ago, where I was a shelter favorite, and am currently waiting for someone to adopt me. I weigh about 80 lbs. Despite my age, I am active and I'm a very loving dog. I'll do well with an active person or people who can take me for walks and hikes. I have many positive traits - I am affectionate, I walk well on a leash, and I am a loyal and sweet dog. I will be your best friend for life. I also prefer to have my person or people around, but that can be expected of most dogs! I am not a barker unless it is warranted. I can also be a bit protective of my people and our property, which can be a good thing. I get along well with other dogs, particularly females. And I love human attention - I am warm and caring. Lola – 1 Year Old Rottie Mix Lola is a sweet, loyal girl who loves being with her people. She does great at bedtime and willingly goes right into her crate. She's the type of dog who wants to stay close to her person and has excellent recall instincts—whether you're out for a walk or spending time in an unfenced yard, Lola prefers to stick by your side rather than wander off. She rides wonderfully in the car and is an easy companion to take along on adventures. Lola enjoys playing with other dogs and gets along well with her foster sibling, Ozzy, though she appreciates having breaks from playtime when she's ready to relax. At just 1 year old, Lola is currently in the process of being scheduled for her spay and is looking for a family to call her own. If you're searching for a devoted companion who wants nothing more than to be part of your daily life, Lola may be the perfect match.

I got Kona as a puppy, and she is now 9 years old. She is a sweet, and loyal dog who loves to snuggle and spend her days relaxing. She is a laid back girl who would happily lounge beside her people all day. Kona was born with elbow dysplasia, so she has always walked with a slight limp and can only tolerate short walks these days. Unfortunately, she is reactive when accidentally stepped on, as she likes to lie underfoot. Because of this, she has bitten people in the past. Now that I have a 10 month-old baby who is crawling and wanting to interact with her, it has become nearly impossible to safely keep them separated at all times.Kona does well with larger, calm dogs but has exhibited prey drive toward small dogs and is reactive toward all dogs while on leash. She has lived successfully with a cat in the past. Kona would do best in a home without children or small dogs, ideally with someone who and can provide her with a relaxed environment.
