I hope you are the right person to adopt my dog Jake, and give this sweet, goodest boy the kind of loving, safe home he has known with me. I know it is not good to get a dog when you cannot commit to them for life. When I adopted Jake 4 years ago (he was about 3 years old so about 7 now), I was working away from home for long periods and I still do, however I had a situation where I had a reliable alternative for him when away. That recently changed unexpectedly. I am sick at the thought of sending him to a new home again - it took a long time for him to feel secure in his new home, but he is a best friend now. He is in very good health and current with all vaccinations. He is good with most other dogs, though not so much with cats or small children (they scare him?). He is very smart and extremely obedient - he will stop chasing a rabbit if commanded! He is used to free dog door access to a fenced yard. It is heartbreaking to let him go. Need to find him home by March 21.? Please.

I adopted him from a shelter in Colorado a year ago, he loves to play tug-o-war and loves to run. He is good with kids and good indoors all day as long as he can get out to potty. Knows simple commands sit, shake, lay down. He is harness trained and knows when it’s on he has to behave for the most part. Loves when we get the harness out because he loves going on a walk. Loves car rides and is very snuggly. He is not kennel trained in the home as we have not had a need for it. He does unfortunately like to chew on shoes and i have been working to correct that. He is a sweet and very loyal dog. He will be two on July 1st. Is good with most dogs just wants to play, he need a yard he can run in. I am only rehoming him due to issues with our landlord.
