Story
Kiwi is a loving, happy, and silly girl. Unfortunately, she tends to become jealous of other animals in the house; which is why I am looking to find her a new loving home. She would thrive best in a home where she is the only animal receiving attention and where the focus is on spoiling her. She has lived with 1 other dog and and 3 cats for the past 5 years. She gets along with them 90% of the time, but unfortunately is unpredictable with her jealousy and has become more reactive. Her favorite things to do are snuggling up close with her people, going for car rides and chewing on sticks. She does not have access to toys due to her jealousy- but when she has had the opportunity- she LOVES to have her own toy to chew on. Kiwi has only ever had one home and we believe the best life for her would be found in the right person/people who are willing to understand her limits and wants to give her the second chance she deserves. We look forward to finding that forever home for this sweet girl

Story
Bessie Mae is a stunning Rottweiler searching for her perfect match. This affectionate 5-year-old recently joined our family due to unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately, we have realized that we can't provide the ideal environment for two large dogs. While Bessie Mae is friendly with people and has warmed up to our other dog, a single-dog home with space to roam would be her dream come true. Bessie Mae is a loyal companion who thrives on human connection. Here's what makes Bessie Mae amazing: Sweet and affectionate, Bessie Mae loves cuddles and human company. Great with people, she's a gentle giant who enjoys spending time with her humans. Adaptable, though initially cautious, she's warmed up to another dog and can adjust to a loving home. If you're looking for a loyal, loving dog, Bessie Mae could be your perfect match!

Meet the "F" babies! These little cuties are ready to find their forever homes! ADOPTION FEE: $500 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays! Please consider supporting us in this mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.

Good with dogs,
Story
Nutmeg is a beautiful Rottweiler mix that is currently being fostered with one of our dog trainers that specializes in timid, shy dogs.  She is guessed to be around 3 years old. She has had a challenging life and deserves nothing but the best Furever Home. She is healing nicely from her eye surgery! She has a very young playful energy. She loves people and enjoys being cuddled. She is fully kennel trained and loves her kennel. She loves to be out in the dog run and is potty trained at her foster mom's house.  She is pretty good on the leash but because of her size and strength, she will need someone that will continue to put in the time to train her basic obedience. There are lots of other dogs at her foster moms house so we know she is dog friendly, her foster doesn't have any cats but thinks she would be fine with them if introduced properly.  She is pretty big and strong so her foster mom thinks she would do better in a home with adults or older kids only. She will need an adopter who will give her love and patience. Please consider this adorable girl, who has gone through a lot, as a part of your new family. She deserves all the love in the world and will give you a lifetime of love. She has so much love to give and is looking for her FurEver Home. Her foster mom is located in Fort Collins Colorado and wants to find a patient adopter who is willing to help her with basic obedience training either with in person, or virtual training session(s). She will provide a discount on training.  The amount of training needed will depend on the knowledge and experience of the adopter and how far along Nutmeg is at the time of adoption.

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Brussel Sprouts, or Sprouts for short! She is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is almost ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'roll over', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Sprouts is a cutie with the best underbite. Sometimes her little bottom teeth stick out from her lip. She originally came from an overcrowded TX shelter where she spent 1/2 her life. So she is still learning the ropes on how to be the best dog she can be. Once she knows you, you are hers for life. She appreciates slower introductions and chin scratches more than over the head pets. When it comes to other dogs, Brussel Sprouts can be selective. You can tell she wants to be friends with most dogs.. but acts as if she isn't sure how to interact appropriately. She does better with calmer female dogs. We will do a dog meet with any potential new siblings. She does have the tendency to protect what she thinks is hers. Sometimes it's a ball, sometimes it's a treat. This is something the PACK program has consistently worked on with her, but will need lifelong management. She seems to be potty trained and does ok in the kennel. Although she'd prefer to not be kenneled! We can introduce Sprouts to cats again once she graduates. She was a bit barky around them before. We just know someone is out there that needs a bit more vegetables to their life! Why not add Brussel Sprouts to the mix? She just needs someone to be consistent with her and show her how to act in the big world. She'll graduate in the middle part of May. Apply to meet her today!
