Story
MacKinnon is currently located at our Everyday Adoption Center in Westminster (10460 Town Center Dr, Westminster, CO, 80021) and can be visited from 10am-6pm Sat/Sun and 12pm-7pm Mon-Fri! Email our Everyday Adoption Center team at EAC@savinganimalstoday.org for more information! MacKinnon is a sweet, athletic boy who is eager to please. He’s proven himself to be a good running companion, already completing runs up to 3 miles! MacKinnon is working on his leash manners and learning how to greet people politely! He is an expert learner, and has mastered "sit" and is a professional at business transactions (knows "shake") The world is an exciting place for him so he wants to investigate everything. I mean, who could possibly pass up on the opportunity to chase after a squirrel or rabbit if given the chance?? Inside the home, MacKinnon is a wonderful houseguest! He has not been destructive, settles well, and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate. He has been calm around the kitty in his former foster home, and with proper introductions, would likely live well with a feline companion. MacKinnon's great passion is his work as a food critic-- he is very eager to try out new tasty snacks and treats! He really enjoys chews such as Himalayan yak milk chews and makes quick work of them. Overall, MacKinnon is an affectionate, well-tempered pup who adores people and dogs alike-- ask about meeting him today!!

Story
Hi, I'm Jax! I was surrendered to the Pet Assn. after my owner became unable to care for me and my two "siblings" (Joplin & Jypsy). I'm a 2 year old Shepherd/Rotty mix and am just the most happy goofy boy. I am nearly 65lbs, great with older kids, cats, and other dogs. I am housetrained, good on leash, good in the car, know basic commands, and really am just a big love bug. I absolutely love to fetch the ball. If you're looking for a bigger pup with good manners, I'm your guy! Reach out to meet me!

Hello, my name is Sweet Pea! I’m a gentle, sweet girl looking for a patient and loving forever home. New people and environments can be a little overwhelming for me, so I’m hoping to find a quiet adult-only home where I can settle in at my own pace. Once I feel safe and comfortable, my sweet personality begins to shine. If you have a calm home and a big heart, I may be the perfect match for you. I can’t wait to meet you!

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Bubba! He is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is just about ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'pray' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Bubba is a big pup whose soulful eyes just pull you in. Bubba loves meeting new people and shows no fear. He likes playing with the other dogs and may enjoy a canine buddy in his new home. He can get a little loud with his play, but he means no harm by it. He is kennel trained and house trained. He's learned lots of new tricks and can't wait to show them off. He isn't great on the leash still; it's a work in progress. Tools like a front clip harness or a gentle leader are beneficial for him. Bubba is a no cats kind of dude though. He will need to go to a kitty-free home. Bubba can have bursts of high energy and getting daily mental and physical exercise will benefit him greatly. He behaves more when he can have that outlet for his energy. If you're looking for a large new buddy, Bubba will be the loyal and lively companion you’re looking for. He will graduate from PACK towards the beginning of July. Apply to meet him today!
