Story
*We will not be hosting adoption events on Saturday, December 27 and January 3. We are offering private adoption appointments to pre-approved applicants December 22-January 4. Happy Holidays!* Smalls is a 6-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Smalls is also tested with other dogs, children, and kennel trained. He is not tested with cats and is working on potty training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Meet Jack! This sweet senior boy graduated from our PACK program 7 years ago! And he still knows some of the tricks from that time. He's great at sit, shake, and lie down! He can even do a roll over but his old man hips don't love that move. He's a quiet boy and housetrained. He does howl when left alone, but only for a few minutes. It's his way of saying "See you Later!" He will need to meet any potential new dog siblings as he can be a bit picky. He should not go to a home with kitty cats! You can apply to meet this sweet boy today!

Meet Curly! He is a graduate of our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Active | Affectionate | Quirky Personality | Best with Active Lifestyle Curly is a high-energy, affectionate pup with a big personality and lots of love to give. He thrives on attention, activity, and outdoor time—and he’s always up for an adventure, whether it’s a morning run, a car ride, or just lounging in the sun with a good stick. Energy & Exercise Needs Curly is an active dog who needs daily physical activity to stay happy and well-behaved. He currently enjoys morning runs and sometimes an afternoon walk or play session. If he doesn't get enough exercise, he may chew or get into things indoors, but a well-run Curly is a calm and cuddly one by evening. Leash Behavior Curly walks best with a nose-lead leash, as he can be strong and persistent on a standard one. He occasionally pulls to chase wildlife or to greet people and dogs, but he's learning to redirect with guidance. He’s food-motivated, which helps with training—he’ll do almost anything for a piece of chicken! Socialization With People: Curly is loyal and curious, often following his person from room to room. While not aggressive, he can be protective at home and may bark at strangers, especially men. After brief introductions and calm corrections, he quickly warms up and returns to his playful self. With Kids: He doesn't gravitate toward children but shows no signs of aggression or nervousness around them—he simply keeps his distance. With Dogs: He’s playful and confident with dogs his size and enjoys fence running with neighbor dogs. He hasn't been introduced to small dogs yet, and his play style may come off as dominant but not aggressive. Apply to meet him today!

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Fish! She is a recent graduate of our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'High Five', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Fish is full of positive energy! She is always ready for an adventure. Whether that be with her humans or other dogs. She gets along with all dogs she's met, large and small and does fine sharing her toys with them. She can be a bit afraid of inanimate objects, such as brooms and mops. But if she is able to approach them on her own terms she settles. Fish needs positive reinforcements. She's quite silly this way. She's a people pleaser and is very focused when there are tasty treats involved. She has been on a sensitive skin and stomach food, and her skin is in good condition. We assume she has some allergies, as her skin gets red and itchy when she is on different food. It's best to keep her on this food. She does well in her kennel at PACK. Fish was curious about cats when she met them. They attempted to smack her, and she backed off and kept her distance. With supervision and training, she might be ok to live with them. Fishy is ready to find her new home by Christmas! So, apply to meet her today!
