Hi, I am looking for a home for my mother's cat, which is 5 years old. My mom passed away recently, and we are unable to keep the cat due to allergies. The cat's name is Missy. She keeps to herself and will warm up to someone, but it takes a little time. She will do well with a single person or an older couple; she is sweet and gets along with other cats.

Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. SAWYER and his siblings (SKY & STUART) was saved by an independent rescuer. They came from a mom at a colony in the area South Los Angeles, California. Once the kittens were stable, the rescuer reached out to us. And now they are with our rescue. SAWYER gets comfortable very quickly and is curious about everything. He can get startled but will come back and investigate. He is still very shy. He comes running when it's time to get his can food. His purr box is very loud. SAWYER does not like to be picked up. He will need a very patient family. He's looking for his REAL FUREVER home. SAWYER and his sister SKY are identical!! SAWYER is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / RUSSIAN BLUE MIX. He is about 6 months old. He is good with cats and is non-reactive to dogs. He has never been around children. As stated on our application, we will not do adoptions of kittens under 8 months without a cat / kitten with enough energy to play with her in her new home.. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts.
