Russian Blue kittens & cats in Clearlake, California

Poppy is a female russian blue mix and she was born Sept 2021 (~5 years old). Poppy is an independent but very sweet cat. She will do her own thing all day, but at night she will want to be close to you. She loves to be pet. We have had her, along with her bonded since birth sister Ellie, since early 2022. Poppy has been having stomach issues since February that we have no be able to resolve. We can no longer have the cats in our current situation with a toddler and a newborn, so we need to rehome her (ideally with her bonded since birth sister, Ellie- see other profile) as soon as we can.

Feeling like you’re not celebrating the beauty of life enough in your house?  That’s easy!  Bring Toast home and you can toast to the finer things in life every day!!!  Our Toast loves to celebrate laps and furry mouse toys ready to be pounced upon.  She enjoys kitty friends. The room volunteers affectionately call her Toastie Bum because she loves to play and is so outgoing–like she’s on fire to love life! In fact, she might be too much for younger kids because Toast is ALL-IN when she starts cat work—play. If you’d like to fill your home with the sound of little paws dancing around the room and listen to plastic balls bouncing around, Toast is ready for the assignment!  You don’t have to have fallen off the turnip truck to recognize that this Russian Blue mix is the cat’s meow! Ms. Turnip, sister to Toast, is filled with that gentle affection that Russian Blue mixes can give. Still, Turnip can turn it up, too and have a solid play session. She loves her kitty friends and human affection. While more reserved, she’d thrive in a gentle, quiet home with older kids, if any.  At ten months old, she offers that quiet confidence that a kitty out of the kitten stage can give.
