Meet Rocket! This sweet girl came to us with her brother from a rough start, and she’s still a little shy around humans but don’t let that fool you. Rocket adores other cats and would do best paired with a social feline friend to help her learn that humans aren’t all that scary. Rocket thrives when she has high spaces to perch and people-watch from a distance, giving her the confidence to explore at her own pace. Her foster recommends keeping her in a small, quiet area at first: many adopters find a bathroom for the first few weeks is perfect for helping a shy kitty feel safe and secure. When she’s comfortable, Rocket loves food, treats, toys, cat trees… and drinking fountains are her absolute favorite! She’s looking for a patient, loving adopter who will give her time to trust and grow into the confident, affectionate kitty she’s meant to be.

Athletic and playful, Ash has a goofy side and can often be found pouncing on toys, rabbit kicking his favorites, or proudly carrying them around in his mouth. He is very food motivated and goes absolutely wild for treats, which makes playtime and bonding extra fun.Ash enjoys playing hard and then curling up beside you once he is all worn out, making him the perfect balance of entertainment and cuddle buddy. He is independent enough to keep himself busy but social and extroverted enough to happily follow you around and “help” with whatever you are doing. He previously lived with his sister Rocket and shares a close bond with her, so they would thrive if adopted together. Spencer is a 24 month old heartthrob with a Russian Blue look. He has a soft, dense gray coat that feels like a little bunny, a smattering of white around his mouth, chest, and paws, and bright green eyes that melt you instantly. He’s a total sweetheart and starts purring the second you pick him up. You’ll also hear his tiny squeaks when he gets excited, especially around mealtime. He loves hopping into your lap the moment you sit down, purrs up a storm, and when he’s really content he’ll even make biscuits. Spencer enjoys his relaxation time but also has playful bursts of energy. He currently lives with two foster brother cats and enjoys zooming around the house with them. He would likely do well with a friendly cat companion who appreciates his enthusiastic little brother energy. Spencer loves lounging in his window cat tree where he can keep an eye on both the outdoors and whatever his humans are up to. He enjoys scratching posts, wand toys, and treats of all kinds. If you’re looking for a snuggly, affectionate companion, Spencer fits the bill. Spencer does have a small quirk to be aware of. He has a paralyzed tail due to nerve damage, and as a result he may occasionally leave a single solid poop outside the litter box. It’s easy to clean and leaves no residue. This tends to happen following litter box use and is fairly predictable. The vet has shared there is a small chance this could improve over the next several months as the nerves continue to heal, though we don’t want adopters to adopt with that expectation. Aside from this, Spencer is an easygoing, loving, low-maintenance cat who thrives on companionship and affection. He’s looking for a home with someone who values a calm, cuddly presence and doesn’t mind a little extra cleanup in exchange for a whole lot of love.

I received Blu 2 years ago from a family friend who was in the process of moving into an apartment. Blu is quite shy, friendly, and has never attacked anyone or shown signs of fear with strangers. He tends to follow me everywhere, waits for me to get out the shower (like a watch dog), and politely meows at closed doors. Some issues we ran into were his diet (overeats, vomits food with the exception of a particular brand of dry food) and shedding. His clinginess along with my schedule made me feel neglectful and his inconsistent eating habits/issues made me feel irresponsible. He has gone to the vet in the past, but I had not kept the next appt due to finances and other reasons. He is in need of getting his nails clipped. Blu is often bored and requires a ton of attention (e.g. even switching toys to avoid boredom). I am not able to bring him to my new apartment and my brothers are not able to continue caring for him in my absence.
