Please call/text this number if interested: 386-214-9908 Cat located in this city: South Daytona, FL Cat’s Name: Bluebelle Cat’s Age & Sex: Approx 1 yr old female Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): Bluebelle was spayed and vaccinated as part of a TNR effort on 5/13/26 so she has a little left ear tip. (We didn’t know she was so friendly!) Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): This little blue beauty was found living outside a local extended stay hotel and was abandoned . we realized she LOVES being inside and LOVES being petted and knew we had to get her off the streets.. Now we want to find a loving, relaxed inside home environment where she can continue to thrive. Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Bluebelle may be a little shy at first but allowed us to pet her almost immediately during her recovery. It seems like she’ll do well with a continued gentle intro (see below). At this point in her life, she’s looking for a quiet place to call home, where she can choose to wander around or just take some quiet naps in a sunny window. Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): Some food, favorite toys to help with the transition. What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): Bluebelle loves her wet food and has been eating mainly wet food since she’s been inside. :::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily.
