Jasper is a sweet 10 year old kitty in need of a new home. We have loved having jasper for the past 10 years but recently I have been experiencing some medical issues and can no longer provide him with the care needs. I believe Jasper’s behavioral issues of sometimes going to the bathroom outside of the litter box has to do with him wanting to be an only cat. Jasper has always lived with other cats however I believe he would do best in a single cat household. Jasper is friendly with children but prefers to be left alone. He really is a sweet kitty with so much love left to give.

Meet Walter! This 6 year old boy is the sweetest most chill cat ever. He loves belly rubs, cheek scratches, and kisses and he will be your best bud! Walter does have diabetes, but he is not on insulin, he takes an oral medication in his food once per day. He will require ketone testing which is just a litmus strip to see if any ketone bodies are in his urine and occasional blood glucose testing which can be done at home. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry foodand ensure cat eats all the wet food daily.
