Story
Meet Mary Jane, a smoke-grey lover who wears her life story on her coat. She is easy to please and intensely grateful for your attention. In exchange for adopting her, she reciprocates with deep purrs and a display of somersaults. She will always make herself available for hugs, kisses and an uplifting conversation. While elegant from a distance, upon closer inspection, you'll find sparse hair patches near her rear-end due to her grooming obsession. You will find her intensely loyal as she deeply craves attention from humans. Experiencing the healing vibrations from her low-frequency purring, it can offer dual benefits to you and her. It's essential she can be raised in a calm and permanent environment where her anxious grooming habits can fade and her loving nature can thrive.

Story
Blue appeared in our neighborhood nearly a year ago, as if he had simply wandered out of another life. At first, he was shy and uncertain, but it was obvious he had once been deeply loved. His long, storm-gray fur was beautifully groomed, his bright green eyes full of quiet curiosity. He would stroll beside the local cat colony along the shaded sidewalks, curl up happily in piles of leaves, and greet every meal with gentle gratitude. But life outside has not been kind to Blue. After briefly disappearing, he returned thinner, worn down, and struggling to survive. The softness is still there — in the way he watches people, in the trust he wants so badly to give — but he needs someone patient enough to help him believe he is safe again. Blue isn’t just looking for a home. He’s looking for someone to remind him what it feels like to be cherished. Somewhere warm, somewhere gentle, somewhere he can finally rest knowing he belongs again.

Story
Pavarti was adopted from us as a very young kitten and sadly returned right around her one-year mark — through no fault of her own. She is now experiencing something commonly referred to as single kitten syndrome, which is exactly why we strongly encourage kittens to be adopted in pairs or into homes with another young, playful cat. After having Pavarti back in our care for about a month, we’ve learned more about what she needs to truly thrive. She would do best as the only pet in the home, as she has shown cat aggression, and since she has never been around dogs, a dog-free home would be safest. Pavarti should also go to an adult-only home, as she can bite from time to time. We believe she simply never learned how to properly play, and her overstimulation cues can be subtle and easy to miss. She is looking for a patient, experienced adopter who understands her needs and is committed to providing plenty of enrichment and stimulation to keep her happy and fulfilled.

Story
Ricky Martin is a gorgeous Russian Blue mix with velvety-soft fur and an adorable forever-kitten look. When he first came to us, he was underweight, dehydrated, and small for his estimated age. Thanks to the care and love he received in his foster home, he’s now healthy, thriving, and has gained weight — though he’ll likely always stay on the petite side. This sweet little guy is incredibly affectionate and loves to press his face against yours for cuddles. He enjoys pets, attention, and flopping over dramatically for more love. He’s playful and fun, but also has a gentle, sensitive side. Ricky can be a little cautious when meeting new people or adjusting to new surroundings, so he’s looking for a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and truly blossom. Once he trusts you, his loving personality shines through. He gets along with other cats and also lived with dogs in his foster home.
