Alani is tiny, dramatic, demanding, and absolutely convinced that the entire world revolves around her. And quite frankly, we're not going to be the ones to tell her otherwise. This little girl is a whole lot of personality packed into one very small body. She's adventurous, ridiculously playful, and always ready to launch a surprise attack on an unsuspecting toy, sibling, or anything else that happens to move in her general direction. And don't let her size fool you. Alani has absolutely no concept of her own limitations. If something can be climbed, she's climbing it. Cat tree? Obviously. Furniture? Of course. Curtains several feet off the ground? Apparently those are fair game too. Her foster has already caught her scaling the curtains like a tiny mountain climber, and we're pretty sure Alani was quite proud of herself. But underneath all that chaos is a surprisingly cuddly little girl. When Alani decides it's time for affection, she can be incredibly sweet and snuggly. Just remember that she's the one making the rules, and she reserves the right to switch from cuddle mode to attack mode at any given moment. For all her bravery when it comes to climbing and exploring, Alani does have a sensitive side. Loud noises can startle her, and when something scares her, she has an impressive ability to launch herself surprisingly far to get away. She'll appreciate a home where she can feel secure while still having plenty of opportunities to explore. Alani is not your average quiet, delicate little kitten. She's a fearless climber, a professional drama queen, an enthusiastic troublemaker, and an occasional cuddle bug, all rolled into one. If you're looking for a kitten who will keep you laughing, keep you on your toes, and occasionally make you question why you own curtains in the first place, Alani is your girl. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to a number of locations within the continental United States. Litter box trained: Yes! House trained: Yes! Meet Cash & Jolene! Cash (Russian Blue male) and Jolene (Tabby female) met while at their foster home. Cash has experienced trauma and is still trying to heal. Cash and his brother were adopted, but their adopter allowed them to go outside, which was something they were not used to, and living in a big city meant there were many dangers. Unfortunately, Cash's brother paid the ultimate price. He was hit by a car and killed. Although we are not sure if Cash was there or if he saw anything, but he misses his brother and has been grieving his loss. When Cash was surrendered back to the Whiskers Fund, he was so nervous that no human could touch him. That's when he met Jolene. Jolene is very particular about the cats she's around. She sensed Cash's hurt and began to take care of him. At first, Jolene started by lying on the floor outside of Cash's cat bed. Then Cash gave her the cushion from his cat bed to lie on. Jolene started to show Cash that she would keep him safe, and she snuggled him. Over the last few months, Cash has come to trust Jolene and look to her for advice.
