Story
Sebastian is my Mother's cat. He is 10 years young and was given to her as a gift when he was 6 weeks. Due to her medical condition, she is no longer able to care for him. He is a quiet, sweet, and gentle cat who loves to hang out and keep you company. He loves cat snacks and gets along well with kids, other cats, and dogs who are not aggressive. The ideal home would be with a family or with someone who is retired and is not away from home most of the time.

Story
Hollywood got his name because he loves to ham it up on our front porch security camera! Practicing for the paparazzi, Hollywood knows how to work the eyes and create a stir. He started occasionally stopping by and would look in our windows to see what was happening in the house. Over time he's become a resident of our front porch. He is a shy, but a sweet little soul. Hes always super appreciative for food and treats. Other cats that stop by will sometimes give him guff, we've never see him be anything but a gentle soul and just steer clear of conflict. We have no brought Hollywood to the vet, so we are unaware of his medical background. We are taking care of 7 community cats living on our porch or decks, the emergency vet care and food expenses are cumbersome and we've been bringing them in for care on an as needed basis. Hollywood seems very healthy. We're looking for a human angel willing to take Hollywood in, help get him proper vet care, love him and give him a wonderful home.

Story
This handsome boy is Ash. Ash was found dumped at the rescue along with 7 other cats/kittens of varying ages. Fortunately, all were still alive and safe when the morning crew found them. We believe he is a sibling to Willow as they appear to be about the same age.  Needless to say, he's on the scared side, but is quickly learning he's safe and sound. The fleas are gone, his belly is full, and he's warm and dry so life is already looking up for sweet Ash. Ash has a gorgeous coat with an adorable ringed tail. These boys are working on socializing, but are very shy at the moment. They don't seem to have had any human interactions (or positive ones anyway) in their short little lives. Our volunteers are trying to change their opinions on people. Its such a joy to watch the babies come out of their shells. Ash has started playing and it is so much fun to watch them jump around on the towers, swat the toys, and skid across the floor trying to catch the other kittens.  We are confident that this boy is going to come around to learn the joys of being pet, sleeping on a lap, and having his very own human to wait on him hand and foot. If you have a friendly, social kitty at home, they could help him come around quicker as he will emulate their behaviors. You can apply today to come meet this handsome blue boy and imagine him running around your house in pure bliss once you've helped him overcome his fears. ##2035905##

Story
Date of Birth: 4/26/2020Adoption Fee: $100.00Date Posted: 4/26/24Hi! My name is Rowan. My brother, Ryker, and my sister, Rhapsody, and I just arrived in Georgia a few days ago. We were in Tennessee in a place called "animal control". Our human family could no longer take care of us so they took us there. Somebody told me that we would be "euthanized" if someone didn't come and get us. I don't know what that means but it sounds so scary! Well, we are safe now and really happy in our foster home. I am a super sweet boy who loves nothing more than getting attention from my humans. I am a little shy when I first meet new people. I may hide in a cubby hole and just watch you for a little bit. If you come on over, I will press my head into your hand and gaze at you with my stunning green eyes to let you know I am glad you stopped by to see me. Before you know it, I will be prancing across the room to greet you and get lots of pets. I will rub against your legs and stay right beside you if you sit on the floor with me or invite me onto a chair with you. I like to touch my nose to your face to sniff and show you how much I like you. I am a gentle, calm boy who just wants to be your friend and companion. I would enjoy going home with my sister, Rhapsody, because she gives me lots of confidence. However, it will be OK for me to join your family on my own as long as I have another feline to be my friend or you have lots of time to spend with me. You should know that I am FIV+ but it is no big deal. I can live with other cats without risk of transmission. You see, the only way to spread the virus is through deep bite wounds. I am a lover, not a fighter, so that would not happen. Research shows that FIV kitties live normal lives, both in quality and duration. My foster mom attached some links so you can read a little more about FIV. I will need for my new family to be patient with me when I first come home because another change will be a little intimidating. However, I will quickly learn that I am safe and loved. Please come see me soon...it will be wonderful to meet my forever family.FIV Information:https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/fiv-cats-feline-immunodeficiency-virus-faqshttps://www.alleycat.org/resources/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv/
