Russian Blue kittens & cats in Macon, Georgia

This handsome boy is Ash. Ash was found dumped at the rescue along with 7 other cats/kittens of varying ages. Fortunately, all were still alive and safe when the morning crew found them. We believe he is a sibling to Willow as they appear to be about the same age.  Needless to say, he's on the scared side, but is quickly learning he's safe and sound. The fleas are gone, his belly is full, and he's warm and dry so life is already looking up for sweet Ash. Ash has a gorgeous coat with an adorable ringed tail. These boys are working on socializing, but are very shy at the moment. They don't seem to have had any human interactions (or positive ones anyway) in their short little lives. Our volunteers are trying to change their opinions on people. Its such a joy to watch the babies come out of their shells. Ash has started playing and it is so much fun to watch them jump around on the towers, swat the toys, and skid across the floor trying to catch the other kittens.  We are confident that this boy is going to come around to learn the joys of being pet, sleeping on a lap, and having his very own human to wait on him hand and foot. If you have a friendly, social kitty at home, they could help him come around quicker as he will emulate their behaviors.
