Looking for a loyal companion? Lev is a 13-year-old, 8 pound, Russian Blue who is as sweet as her name (Hebrew for "Heart") suggests. She's a world-class cuddler who loves humans. She instantly purrs when anyone picks her up. She even lets babies and toddlers pet her. She has a curious spirit and enjoys sinks, high shelves, and counters. Lev has a history of gastroenteritis, which is well managed through her diet and medication. She is currently healthy and stable. She does requires a specific hydrolyzed protein diet and a simple daily pill and probiotic routine to manage food sensitivities. She is up to date on her immunizations and is microchipped. Lev's ideal home is a loving, attentive household. Lev must be in a home where either she is the only pet or her food can be monitored (e.g., separate rooms or automatic microchip feeders) to ensure she sticks to her specialized diet.

I am a laid back guy who loves the good things in life.  My idea of a good time is watching the birds and squirrels from a comfy window seat, playing with wand toys and lasers and laying on the desk by you while you are working.  I enjoy a nice lap to sit on too.  I am a foodie and get really excited by any food.  I have had a rough life out in a rural area.  My owners left me to fend for myself when they moved.  I was beat up by other cats ; but I was just trying to find food and a place to sleep.  I actually like other cats.  I am a very social guy so I like people around.  I would love a home that would love me for the rest of my life.  Living on the street was hard.  I need a forever home.
