Sterling is a handsome 7-month-old Russian Blue mix with a gentle soul and a hopeful heart. Found living in a cat colony, he’s still learning how wonderful human affection can be. He is receptive and curious, but a bit hesitant as he builds confidence. The good news? Sterling is never reactive — no hissing, no swatting — just a sweet boy trying to understand that love is safe. Sterling would thrive in a quiet, patient home where he can receive the one-on-one affection he needs. A family offering a cozy lap cat position would be perfect for him as he blossoms into the companion he’s meant to be. He does wonderfully with both cats and dogs, but due to his sensitive nature, a home without young children is recommended. We are located in an overpopulated area surrounded by high-kill shelters. Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel.
