DJ and his sister were born about 4 years ago in my backyard to a feral mother. Once she had weened them I caught them both in a humane trap, had them neutered, chipped and given all their kitten shots. DJ made it clear he did not want to live in the house all the time and goes in and out by asking. He refuses to be picked up, held and won't jump in my lap. He only likes to be pet on his terms (mostly while given meals). He does bring presents (dead mice) from his patrols. I think he would enjoy being a barn cat since he spends little time in the house. I am moving and cannot take all of my 4 cats with me (only 2). He is healthy but not up to date on his shots as he refuses to get in a carrier.

Story
Stacy is about 13 years old. I got her as a stray cat 12.5 years ago and she has been very sweet for most of that time. I have had another cat with her for 8 years, but the last few years, she has not gotten along with my other cat. She also doesn’t do well with children or dogs. She will try to swat them and hiss but that is all I have let it escalate to. She has never had issues with the litter box. She does have hairballs frequently due to shedding more in her older age. She eats blue buffalo dry food (adult sensitive stomach). She does not take any medications and is up to date on vaccinations. Most of her teeth are gone from decay or surgical removal. I can provide her vet records. The reason we can no longer keep her is due to the fact that she doesn’t not get along with our other cat, dog and child. I can provide her new owner with food, food bowls, litter and a litter robot to whomever would be a good fit for her. She most likely needs a quiet house with little activity.

“Beautiful Angel” I got a call last week about two cats that were soon to be homeless and put outdoors because their owner’s passed away. When I found out “Angel” was a senior and only has “3 legs”, I said I would take both Angel and the other cat named “Lucky”. It was an hour drive to Atwell Ohio, but I made it and picked up both cats. Both are very loving and affectionate cats. They are “not” a bonded pair. Angel is a beautiful Russian Blue mix cat. She is 12 years old, spayed and has tested negative for leukemia/FIV. She is a sweet cat and is so content just snuggling on my sofa.
