Story
Grayson is looking for a new home! This boy is super affectionate and is looking for someone to share his love with. Grayson tested positive for FIV, but can live a normal, healthy life. According to the Humane Society of the US, "Cats with FIV often have similar life spans to cats without it: Studies conducted in 2010 and 2022 found that an FIV diagnosis wasn’t associated with decreased lifespans. In fact, cats can remain asymptomatic for years or even their entire lives." Read more about FIV: https://www.humanesociety.org/news/fiv-positive-cats Adoption fee: $175 (Includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, worming, and FeLV/FIV test - over $350 worth of veterinary care!) Go to www.ColumbusPetRescue.com to begin the adoption process today. We have invested time, money, and care into our feline friends and want to ensure they never have to be abandoned again. Click on "available pet" and scroll down to find the adoption application. After filling out an application, e-mail it to ColumbusPetRescue@gmail.com. We will process your information and check veterinary and other references. Finally you may be scheduled for a home visit to make sure the environment is perfect for your new family member. Once you are approved, the process is simple: choose your new cat, meet and greet him or her, and, if all goes well, you have yourself a new pet. (All cats will be spayed or neutered before going to their new home.) E-mail your application to ColumbusPetRescue@gmail.com today! We only adopt within the state of Ohio.

Story
This is a big boy, weighing 24 pounds. I got him as a birthday present from my daughter last year, and the rescue said he was 2. Another cat, also male came with him, but was older, and became ill over the year. I had to put him to sleep 2 weeks ago. The vet thought it was kidney related. I began have urinary tract infections last summer. And since they have not been able to contain their business in the automatic litter box, and Smokey is in such distress with the loss of his buddy. I am going to move to a clean house and see if I can get healthy. He is a very fearful cat, more so since he is alone. Over the year he has socialized better in the house with me, being able to come out and tolerate movement in the house. As you can see in the picture he was comfortable sitting in the open. At this time he is not as free, and is hiding behind furniture except to eat when I put his food out in the morning.

Story
This is a courtesy post for a lady who already has several cats and cannot take in any more. This is Angel. This little girl was taken in, fixed, and had her first round of shots. She is about 6 months old. She appears to be a Russian Blue mix with a lovely personality. She's a love to humans, but does not like other cats. She needs to be an only cat. If we cannot help find her a home, the lady that took her in is probably going to put her back outside. She said Angel is the most loving cat she's ever had. She is a serious lap cat, but appears to only like people, not other cats. If you are interested in finding out more or would like to meet Angel, please email Black and Orange Cat Foundation at bandocats@gmail.com. April 29, 2024, 2:48 pm

Story
Sadie is an active senior cat. She is a healthy 11-year-old. She has been inside most of her life and is not up to date on any shots. She's pretty active, but quite shy to begin with. she was not raised with cats, dogs, or kids so how she would react is unknown. She is perfect with a litter box. She likes to play a little rough sometimes so kids would have to be careful. I'm not sure what breed she is but looks like a Russian blue.
