“Beautiful Angel” I got a call last week about two cats that were soon to be homeless and put outdoors because their owner’s passed away. When I found out “Angel” was a senior and only has “3 legs”, I said I would take both Angel and the other cat named “Lucky”. It was an hour drive to Atwell Ohio, but I made it and picked up both cats. Both are very loving and affectionate cats. They are “not” a bonded pair. Angel is a beautiful Russian Blue mix cat. She is 12 years old, spayed and has tested negative for leukemia/FIV. She is a sweet cat and is so content just snuggling on my sofa. Meet Benedict! At around 4 months old, Benedict is a sweet, laid-back little guy with a gentle personality. He may be a bit shy when meeting new people, but give him about a week to decompress, settle into his new home, and learn that he can trust you, and you’ll see his affectionate, loving side shine through. Benedict enjoys chasing feather wands, laser pointers, and just about any toy he can get his paws on, but he’s also happy to relax and soak up attention. He’s the kind of kitten who loves to play but has an easygoing nature that makes him a wonderful companion. He’s been raised with other cats as well as both a small and a medium-sized dog, so he should do well in a home with other friendly pets after a proper introduction. Benedict had a unique start to life. His mama was a pregnant stray who found safety at a local shop, where kindhearted people took her in so she could have her babies indoors. Benedict was lovingly cared for but spent most of his time in one room with just two regular caregivers, so he’s simply not used to meeting lots of new people. Like many kittens who have experienced big life changes, he just needs a little patience and understanding. Once Benedict feels safe, he blossoms into an incredibly sweet, loving, and playful kitten who will happily become your little shadow—and steal your heart.
