Meet Cyrus! This handsome boy is an incredibly sweet and affectionate cat who absolutely loves attention from his people. He is wonderful with kids and would thrive in a quieter home where he can soak up all the love. Cyrus has lived with other cats, but we believe he would be happiest as the only pet where he can be the center of attention. He does not enjoy large dogs. Cyrus is FIV+, but FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives. FIV is not spread through sharing food or water bowls, litter boxes, grooming, cuddling, or normal everyday contact between cats. Cyrus has successfully lived with other cats for years. Cyrus does need a little extra help with grooming to keep his coat comfortable and looking its best. Regular brushing with the right brush can make a big difference, and we can also recommend a great cat groomer! From BARC to Spark 🩶💙 Krishna is a tiny fighter we pulled from BARC’s euthanasia list, was sick with panleuk and ringworm, barely hanging on. Krishna has officially recovered from panleukopenia! 🎉 The kitten who came to us malnourished and fighting for his life is now just… a kitten. Eating well, playing, getting into all the normal kitten mischief his foster momma could ask for. He’s still working through his ringworm treatment, but the hardest part is behind him. VERY ATTACHED TO HER HOOMANS  DOB 3/14/26 Hey there, everyone! I’m Tini, a friendly, affectionate, and playful Russian Blue mix gal who’s very attached to Foster Meowmy. In fact, like any tiny kitten who's the only girl in my  litter, I cling to her and demurely meow when I want her to give me more attention. Dumpling, Sake, Tuna, and I tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, collapse in a kitten puddle. I'm especially bonded to my twin brother Tuna, and, although I'm more dominant and playful than he is, we nap together a lot.  A Good Samaritan called Foster Meowmy for help after she found my #Bellaire-quartet litter only one day after our feral momma, whom she’d been feeding, had birthed us. Foster Meowmy ended up trapping our nursing momma and bringing all of us, including Momma, to the safe haven of her home. Momma doted on us and passed on good manners to all of us for six weeks, but, because she never “tamed up” to hoomans, Foster Meowmy got her spayed and released her to rejoin her cat mates at her old stomping grounds. Our hooman family had handled us from the beginning, and the three resident cats became our surrogate aunts and uncles, so, since we were weaned, we were not devastated to tell Momma goodbye – only happy that she is happy again.
