Nikita, Nickie for short, is a lovely Russian Blue mix female born approximately 10/11/2021. "I was pulled from a local shelter for "rescue only." They said I was so scared, no one would want me. But... from the first day in my foster home, I met another foster kitty, Misti, and my whole world got better. She made me feel safe and showed me that it isn't as scary being around people as I thought it was. We became friends really fast and I watched her and learned how to be a cat. No longer scared. My foster mom gives me treats in her lap and pets me. I have slowly learned to trust people - especially if you have food! Just show me the bowl and I know what it is. I will entertain you with playing, or just enjoy cuddling on the couch. I share my foster home with many cats, but would really love my own fur-ever home. She exhibits the typical outgoing, social nature of the Russian Blue (mixed) breed. She is very confident and not afraid of anyone. Nothing makes this little lady happier than the sight of a treat. Watch how her huge green eyes light up at the sight of a scrumptious freeze dried snack. We are in awed of Granny Abby's active nature. For a supposedly senior feline, this gal really gets around and is quite curious and active. She especially loves to steal plastic straws. She'll even get them out of the trashcan if she sees you put them in there. Granny Abby is still very active. She likes playing fetch, but, once she catches the item, they are HERS...as she doesn't always bring back what you throw. She tends to run off with her prize in her mouth. Her behavior is very much like that of a puppy. We are selectively looking for a quiet home where our lovely girl can be a single cat in the home and spend her days being loved and pampered.
