Moxie is a reserved little lady but once you earn her trust, she is a precious princess! She lived outside for a long time and didn't get too much human interaction before being rescued, she has come a long way and would love to have just one human who adores her and lets her move at her own pace. She'd love a home with other kitties, a catio/ lots of windows! She is a special one!   We want to make adopting easy for you! Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) DEUCE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED! This is DEUCE. He is a gorgeous striped tabby. He will need a special patient person as he is still extremely shy.  With the right amount of patience, he will make a great kitty in a quiet home.  He is very food motivated.  He is not recommended for dogs or children. He would probably do best with a gentle outgoing companion to help him get out of his shell. He  is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.  His adoption fee of $295 also includes the transport to VA.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring her up north once she is adopted.
