Story
Kitara is a sweet, healthy senior cat who doesn’t get along with our golden retriever. She loves people and wants to bond with one person while being friendly with all. While Kitara is not needy or demanding, our adult children on their own now and Kitara needs someone who can give her more attention, which she will return with loud purrs and affection.

Story
Meet BlueBell and brother, Basil. BlueBell is a beautiful Russian Blue mix (hypoallergenic) and Basil is a handsome all black cat. Both are just 6 months old and came to us with their mom and siblings when they were trapped accidentally in a rural Culpeper backyard that had poisonous snakes and fox on the property, not to mention large dogs inside the home. They may have been trapped accidentally (we were trying to trap another litter and didn't even realize they were there), but it was their lucky day! They immediately came into foster care with lots of love, safety, and food! Though loving and sweet, they are a little shy and and skittish, due to their past and who can blame them? They have been through a lot at such a young age.Bluebell is a curious explorer who loves watching the world outside the window, couch snuggles, and wrestling with her brother Basil. Basil is a chatty little guy with a loud purr who loves toys and playing Tag with his sister Bluebell.BlueBell and Basil do everything together - they grooom and sleep together, play together, eat together. They are bonded and will need to be adopted together. We have an adoption special: adopt one, get 1 free with bonded pairs 6 months or older.Their purrfect home would be a quiet, low activity home with either no kids, or kids over the age of 12. Both are/will be dewormed, spayed/neutered, receive an FVRCP vaccine and a booster, a rabies vaccine, be combo tested, and be microchipped with a life time registration. No need to pay to reregister every year - we've taken care of it for you. BlueBell and Basil have asked Santa to be in a loving home for the holidays and we are hoping you  can help make their wish come true. Story
Stormy is a great cat but we have moved a lot and since our last few moves she has developed issues using the litterbox. We have another cat that is house-trained and I think he uses all of the litterboxes and marks his territory, and she hasn't gone in it since. We've tried multiple litterboxes, isolating her, and nothing has worked. She was outside in our fenced-in backyard for the summer and loved it, but with the cold coming and another move we unfortunately can't take care of her. She's a very sweet cat that, when not stressed, loves to cuddle and is very talkative. She just needs a loving home at her older age of 14 to live out her twilight years and our crazy house with three young boys isn't the place for her anymore. It breaks my heart to put her up for adoption but it's what's best for her.
