Story
Joanne is the kind of cat who makes you smile without even trying. At just around one year old, she’s the perfect mix of playful kitten energy and graceful young adult charm. She carries herself with this quiet confidence that says she knows she’s adorable—and she absolutely is—but she doesn’t need to demand the spotlight to prove it. Joanne is simply herself, and that’s more than enough to win anyone over. If you’ve ever loved a “classic cat,” Joanne is exactly that in the best way. She has her independent streak and enjoys doing her own thing, whether that’s exploring every corner of the room, investigating a new toy, or finding the coziest hidden nap spot you didn’t even know existed. She’s curious, observant, and just the right amount of mischievous to keep life interesting. Don’t be surprised if she quietly supervises your daily routine like a tiny, furry manager making sure everything is up to her standards. Get to know her and watch her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/LBFQdi0TCcs?si=zR3Ol9qM6EHtYI3p But don’t let her independent spirit fool you—Joanne absolutely has a soft, affectionate side. When she’s ready for love, she will come to you for pets and attention, leaning in sweetly and soaking up every bit of affection. There’s something extra special about earning the love of a cat like Joanne because it feels genuine and chosen. She isn’t clingy, but she wants you, and that makes every moment with her feel meaningful. Joanne is currently being fostered with multiple other cats and does wonderfully with them. She knows how to coexist, socialize, and share her space, making her a great fit for a home with feline friends. She can join in on playful moments or happily do her own thing nearby—she’s adaptable and easygoing in that way. At this age, Joanne is still young enough to be playful and full of life, but she’s also growing into a more relaxed, easy companion. She’s the kind of cat who will entertain you with her little adventures, keep you company without being overwhelming, and bring a calm, happy presence into your home. Joanne is looking for a family who appreciates a cat with personality—one who is confident, curious, affectionate on her own terms, and wonderfully, unapologetically cat-like. If you’re searching for a companion who will make your home feel fuller, warmer, and just a little more fun, Joanne might be exactly who you’ve been waiting for. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport. Story
I have had her from a kitten and she has always been courieous and very interested in what you are doing she loves visitors and is social with people , not the kind to hide from people in fact she wants a pet and she will get in your lap. By the way she is about 5 now and was raised with an old chiwawa he has since went to live under the rainbow bridge but they got along great although she has been on her own for about 3 yrs now I thing she will adapt to other pets and make way... also she dose not like her nails clipped At All I have tried everything even the vet said they will not do it unless she is drugged I do have a cat hanger I put her in it to clip them but mostly the front ones get it but the back ones are so hard. She likes the pellet litter and I scoop and flush daily so never smell it unless I leave for the weekend.

Story
Hi everyone this is Michi! She is a very beautiful, very sleepy, very proper little (older) girl. She is a pure Nebelung (not Russian Blue, limited choices) but I don't have papers, unconventional adoption. She loves sun baths, treats, and infinite scratches and cuddles. Michi takes a little bit of warming up but she is a love bug once she gets comfortable. Very much the original fraidy cat, doesn't like loud noises or sudden movements. Not much for active playing but will absolutely fight off the greebles for you. She is also very good at chittering, she was once a powerful hunter. Absolutely not a risk to be around, she will not scratch at all unless you really mess with her belly or pick her up and jostle her too much. You will probably startle her by just walking around her though... I have to rehome her because my girlfriend has moved in with a dog and now she is just too anxious. She was already being bullied a bit by my other cat but now with the dog she is anxious regularly.

Story
🐾 ONYX — Adoption Post (Shy / Needs Patient Home) Looking for a quiet, patient home — Onyx (5 years old) Onyx is a 5-year-old boy who will need a special kind of home—but for the right person, he will become an incredibly loyal and loving companion. He is: Very shy and skittish at first Will take time (weeks to months) to fully warm up Playful and strong—he loves to play, but is still learning gentle boundaries Once he trusts you, he becomes a total lover and craves attention Onyx would do best in: A quiet home Someone patient and experienced with cats No other cats (he needs to be the only pet) Indoor-only environment This is not a “quick adjustment” cat—he’s a build-trust, earn-love kind of cat. But if you give him that time, the bond you’ll get back is something really special. 📍 Located in Whatcom County

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I’m Misha, and after six years I’m now interviewing candidates for a new situation. My former family cried when they gave me up, so I know I was loved, but it was a busy household with a lot going on. Since I get to do the interviews, I’ve decided to look for a quieter home this time around. I’m very affectionate and love attention! My plush coat  is soft as velvet and I have the cutest little chirp to let you know I’m ready for pets. Indoor only please. If you would like an interview, please apply here: https://www.rocketrescue.org/forms/form?formid=5196Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 2, 2026, 5:16 pm
