Story
Tuna is a 7-year-old Saluki mix rescued from the streets of Qatar and deeply loved by our family. We are exploring rehoming him only for his own benefit and quality of life. Tuna is a love bug and thrives on affection, cuddles, and close companionship. He's never met a stranger and does well with children, though he doesn't enjoy being climbed on by our toddlers. He is athletic and would enjoy running or hiking, but he is equally content relaxing at home. He's silly and sweet and has a big personality. Tuna is on medication for anxiety (fluoxetine/doggy Prozac) and does very well on it. When on a walk, he barks and lunges at other dogs but otherwise does great on a leash. He lives well with our dog and gets along well with most dogs. As our family has grown, Tuna has unfortunately not gotten the attention he deserves. We love him so much and want the best for him. But we want to be clear - we do not NEED to rehome him & we will only place him with the perfect family for him.
