I adore people and am happiest when I’m soaking up attention or joining in on playtime. I do best with calm, confident dog friends, but my favorite thing in the world is being around humans. I’m the perfect medium size for snuggles on the couch or adventures outdoors. What I’m really dreaming of is a family who will see me for who I am today: sweet, fun, and ready to love with my whole heart. Could that be you? Hey, I’m Gerald—57 pounds of pure sunshine in a dog suit. Born on the streets of Bahrain and raised in a crowded shelter, I somehow missed the memo that life was supposed to be hard. I greet everyone (humans, dogs, cats, you name it) with a wagging tail and a face that says, “Isn’t life just the best?” I’m four years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to bring my boundless energy and golden retriever-level enthusiasm to an active home. I love walks, thrive on attention, and basically consider myself your built-in hype man. Hi, I’m Apollo! I may be missing a leg, but trust me—it doesn’t slow me down one bit. I’m a playful, friendly guy who loves people and gets along great with other dogs. My favorite things? Playtime, wagging my tail like crazy, and soaking up all the love I can get. When I was just a tiny pup, I was hit by a car in Qatar, and sadly, my leg couldn’t be saved. But that’s just part of my story, not the end of it. I bounced back with a smile and a heart full of joy. Now, I’m ready for a forever family who will see me for the happy, goofy boy I am. I’m the kind of girl who prefers peaceful walks and long naps on the sofa over chaos and crowds. I was rescued from a construction site after losing my puppies to the brutal heat—others weren’t so lucky, and I carry that with me. I have a leg fracture that couldn’t be treated in Doha, so I sometimes don’t bear weight on it—but I’m hoping for a second opinion and better care abroad. I’m great with dogs and kind humans (including kids), and I bring a gentle presence to every room I enter.
