Nimbus is aptly name, with a fluffy white cloud that looks and feels like a cloud! This sensitive boy came to the shelter from a hoarding situation and needs a bit of extra TLC and support to gain confidence. Here’s what one volunteer said:“I recently met Nimbus in the clinic where he was recovering from wounds. He was very shut down at first, so I just visited that first day. One or two days later, I went inside his kennel, visited, then slowly leashed and exited kennel. He became very nervous, so I took him into the small yard where I dropped the leash and let him walk around. Eventually he calmed himself, approached me, and laid down a couple yards in front of me, somewhat content. I have worked with him twice since, loosely holding the leash, going where he wanted to go. He is beginning to become accustomed to his environment, and our last two trips around the yard were much calmer. At this time, he is still fearful of any noises. We walked back to his kennel, and he was calmer and more responsive to gentle leash guidance. Then I sat with him and he relaxed and accepted gentle pets. We will continue to work together to build his trust and confidence.” Nimbus is special boy who needs a special family to help him overcome his difficult beginnings. He shares his kennel with another PACC pup and may benefit from a calm, confident doggy friend to help show him the ropes in a home environment. Ask how you can help Nimbus today!!

Ghost is a laid back 11 y.o. Who loves to explore. She loves long walks and hikes (when it’s cool enough)We are currently in an apartment and my wife is due with our 2nd child. Open to rehoming if not permanently, just for 1 year until we move into our new home next April. I am willing to pay for a rehoming fee of $150 to help get Ghost settled into her new home.
