Story
Hi. My name is Kenzo and here is some info about me: Breed: SamoyedAge: 1 YearGender: MaleWeight:55 lbHighlight(s): Good with other dogs, people, house trained. Hey there, I'm Kenzo. Life has been a bit confusing for me lately, but I'm trying to stay optimistic. You see, I used to have a family who I thought would be with me forever. But one day, they decided they couldn't keep me anymore because I was getting bigger. I can't quite understand why they would give me up, but I'm doing my best to move forward. Despite everything, I'm still a loving boy with a heart full of affection. I've made so many furry friends here at the shelter, and I get along with all of them. However, I've noticed that I seem to be really interested in chasing cats, so it's probably best if I find a family without any feline friends. Sharing my space and toys with my furry pals is no problem for me. But when it comes to mealtime, I prefer to eat alone – just a little quirk of mine. Oh, and did I mention that I'm house trained? Yep, I've got that down pat. I also know how to walk on a leash like a pro, and I haven't displayed any leash reactivity. I absolutely adore people and their company. There's something about their presence that makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Playing and going on adventures are some of my favorite things to do, and I dream of finding a forever family who will join me in making lots of fun memories together. I've got medium to high energy levels, so I'd love a family who's up for running around and playing fetch with me. But most of all, I just want to find a home where I'm loved and cherished for who I am. Are you ready to make my dreams come true? Because I'm ready to shower you with all the love and loyalty in my fluffy little heart. Let's go on this adventure together – forever and always. Energy Level: Medium/high requires daily physical activities. I get along with:Dogs: yesCats: noKids: unknown, no video proof Fears: Unknown/none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition. Training: yes/ minimal, please be patient with me. I am a very fast learner and given the opportunity, I will learn all the tricks there is in no time.Leash skills: yes. Please be prepared to continue training me.House trained:Yes, Please be prepared to help me learn where to go in my new home.  Health notes: I have been neutered, dewormed, microchipped and up to date on my vaccination. My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems. Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. ##2034495##

Story
Meet BISCUIT! She is a sweet and joyful- Samoyed girl who loves people. She was found with a broken bone which was an indicaton of physical abuse, but thankfully she was rescued by our rescue team. Yet-She still loves people and loves to play with other dogs! Behaviours from the foster mom : She is very gentle, cheerful and very affectionate. She loves people- and also she absolutely loves playing with other doggie freinds. She is good with kids, as well- She might get a bit jealousy though, because she loves people so much. If you have a cat at home- Biscuit will show interest in a cat, but she won't be aggresive, She is just curious :) She isn't a big barker, but she may bark a couple of times when she eats her food and she gets excited :D She loves walking with her hooman. She has walk in her wheelchair, but she loves running and smelling all the new exciting smell. She is pad-trained well. She never damanged the house- and she doesn't have any aggresive behavior issue. Biscuit may have a disability in her leg, but she brings all the joy and happiness to us with her positive and lovely spirit! and She absolutely loves her hoomans even though she was abused by some people in the past. She is such a lovely and an inspiring girl who shows what real love is :D Biscuit is absolutely ready to be your loving family :) Allergy/health issues: Biscuit's right hind leg bone was broken and necrosis on her paw pad and toes were severe. The vet tried their best to stop it, but we couldn't stop it getting worse. But, The vet was able to save her leg and the top of her foot. This is why she has disability in her right hind leg. However, her bones in her legs and joints has no issues at all. Other than a bit of disability in her right-hind leg, she is absolultely healthy- She can even run around with out wheelchair. She is just a happy, sweet and a gentle girl with full of joy!

Story
I'm Carrot, a charming 2-year-old Samoyed Jindo mix looking for my forever home. My journey began in 2021 when I, along with my mom and siblings, was sadly abandoned near a stream. Fortunately, Yongin Animal Protection Association in S. Korea rescued me, and now I'm ready to share my love with you. I might be a bit shy at first, but my love for people knows no bounds. I warm up quickly, and before you know it, I'll be nuzzling against you for those cherished cuddles. My social skills extend to my furry friends too; I get along famously with other dogs and am always eager to make new acquaintances. I'm leash-trained and well-behaved in my kennel. I have a moderate energy level, so after our adventures, I'm content to lounge and relax by your side. Oh, and during our walks, I might leave a little mark to let others know I've been there—it's just my way of saying hello! I'm not possessive about food, and barking is not my style. Let's embark on this journey together—filled with wagging tails, shared moments, and everlasting love. https://youtu.be/p2fh5ZN-Pmo?si=WknE4vcSLh9EdpG2 https://youtu.be/G-kY7LemLX4?si=k8ktWS01_L2fT8Fg

Story
I'm a 2-year-old male Cream-colored Samoyed and Jindo mix, and I have a story to tell you. In 2021, when I was just a little pup, I, along with my mom and siblings, was abandoned near a creek. Luckily, the kind folks at the Yongin Protection Association rescued us and brought me to a shelter. I've been waiting patiently for a family to call my own ever since. I'm a real sweetheart, you know. I love people, get along great with other dogs, and I'm always up for some playtime. It doesn't take me long to warm up to new faces; I'll be nudging you for pets and attention in no time. When it comes to meeting other doggy pals, I'm all for it—I'm friendly and love making new friends. However, being cooped up in the shelter has left me a bit unaccustomed to the outside world. When I first step out for a walk, I get so excited that I tend to pull on the leash. But don't worry, once I've had a good run around and let out some energy, I settle down to a more leisurely pace. That's when my playful side really shines—I'll show you just how charming and adorable I can be. One special thing about me is that I'm not much of a barker, and I'm quite well-behaved in my crate. So, if you're looking for a companion who brings joy without the noise, I might just be the one for you! https://youtu.be/8OVIqiqF_Go?si=fr027T3O1Dzn8opI https://youtu.be/HOugrw0G_Ew?si=r8TuPH9p_4qT4rf5 https://youtu.be/G-kY7LemLX4?si=k8ktWS01_L2fT8Fg

Name: Gomi Age: 1 year old Gender: Male Neutralization: Completed Breed: Samoyed & Jindo Mix Color: Black Hey there! I'm Gomi, a charming mix of Samoyed and Jindo, with sleek, shiny black fur and an adorable face that's bound to steal your heart. My journey hasn't been easy – I was born and raised in a dog meat farm, where every day was a struggle to survive. But thanks to a stroke of luck and some compassionate souls, I've been given a shot at a brand new life, and now I'm eagerly waiting for my forever family to find me. I'm a social butterfly with an easygoing personality. Meeting new people? Piece of cake! I love everyone I meet, from old friends to total strangers, and I'm always up for a good cuddle session – no treats required! Just being around me, you'll feel a sense of warmth, comfort, and pure joy radiating from my furry self. When it comes to other furry friends, I'm generally open to making new pals. However, I might not see eye to eye with bigger, more assertive personalities, so it's probably best if I find a home where I can be the center of attention or with smaller, more easygoing companions. I'm a pro at enjoying the simple things in life – good food, fun playtime, and leisurely strolls in the great outdoors. While I'm not much of a toy enthusiast, I absolutely adore spending time with my human pals and going on exciting adventures. Plus, I'm a leash-walking champ and always make sure to take care of business outside like a true gentleman. Despite the challenges I've faced in my past, I'm ready to embrace the future with open arms and a heart full of love. If you're in need of a loyal companion who'll stick by your side through thick and thin, look no further – I'm your guy! Story
Hi there! My name is Bryce, and I have quite the story to tell.   Breed: Alaskan MalamuteAge: 4 yearsGender: Male    Weight: 73 lbHighlight(s): Good with other dogs, rarely barks, no escape tendency I was found wondering the streets and ended up in a city pound as a stray. Despite having a microchip, no one came to claim me, and I was at risk of being euthanized. Thankfully, I was saved and brought to a shelter, but unfortunately, I've been there for over a year without finding a family to call my own. Living in Korea's hot and humid summers hasn't been easy for me as a Malamute. I'm really hoping to find a home where I can be comfortable and happy. I'm not shy at all when it comes to meeting new people. In fact, I love it when strangers pet me and give me belly rubs. I'm a big fan of scratches and don't mind being brushed. Just be prepared for some shedding! I get along well with other dogs, regardless of their size. I've been living with 30-40 dogs at the shelter, so I'm used to being around many furry friends. However, I haven't had the chance to meet a cat yet, so I'm not sure how I would react. I have a moderate energy level and enjoy outdoor activities. I walk well on a leash and am confident in urban environments. Sudden noises and car rides don't scare me at all. In fact, I absolutely love car rides and enjoy looking out the window, feeling the wind on my face. I want to assure you that I haven't shown any signs of aggression. However, I do have a little possessive behavior when it comes to certain things. Sometimes, I won't let go of something I have in my mouth. But don't worry, the shelter is working on this with me, and it's recommended to continue "leave it" training after adoption. I don't have separation anxiety and rarely bark. You won't have to worry about me trying to escape either. I am crate-trained, but I haven't been housetrained yet since I haven't had the chance to live in a home. With a little patience and guidance, I'm sure I'll catch on quickly. I'm just a lovable Malamute looking for a family to call my own. If you're ready to give me the love and care I deserve, please consider adopting me. I promise to be a loyal and affectionate companion for life.
