Story
🐾 Meet Aspen! ❄️❤️ Aspen is one of those special dogs who seems to love absolutely everyone he meets — and everyone who meets him loves him right back! This adorable 4-year-old fluff ball is approximately 29 pounds, but he has a huge heart and the sweetest personality. Aspen was abandoned at a flea market in South Texas, and we simply couldn't leave him there. Thankfully, he was rescued and is now safe, but he deserves so much more than that. He deserves a forever family. 💙 Aspen is lovable, affectionate, funny, gentle, and incredibly sweet. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is incredibly adaptable. New situations don't seem to bother him — he takes things in stride and just wants to be around his people and doggy friends. He seems to be house trained and would do best in a medium-active home where he can enjoy walks, companionship, and plenty of cuddles. Aspen is believed to be a Samoyed mix, possibly with some Husky, and he is definitely a fluffy boy! His beautiful coat will require regular grooming. ☀️ One very important request: Aspen needs to get out of the Texas heat. We would love to see him placed in a cooler climate where he can enjoy cold weather and snow. ❄️ 🐶 Aspen's Details 4 years old Approximately 29 lbs Neutered Heartworm negative Up to date on vaccinations In very good health Great with other dogs Loving, affectionate, gentle & friendly Seems to be house trained Medium activity level Adaptable and easygoing Needs regular grooming Ready for a family of his own ❤️ After everything Aspen has already been through, he deserves a soft place to land and someone who will show him what it means to be truly loved. We can already picture him curled up beside his person, being the ultimate cuddle buddy and best friend. 🥰 Please consider fostering or adopting Aspen! He is such a wonderful little dog, and we'd love nothing more than to see him leave Texas behind and finally find the family he's been waiting for. 🏡 Aspen is ready. His forever family is out there. Please help us find them. ❤️🐾 Aspen is neutered, heart worm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport. Story
Lucas Ray Jackson here! This gorgeous floofball is a charmer! He has many hours greeting people in medical clinics and nursing homes, always bringing a smile! He is looking for a fenced yard so he can sunbathe without the pressure to chase cars and dogs going by. He is reactive on a leash when he sees other dogs, so a strong owner who knows how to work with that is best. He listens to strong commands esp when his full name is used, lol. He lives in a foster home with many other dogs but his personal choice would be a home of his own so he doesnt have to tolerate dogs with dominant or high energy behaviors around him… he would prefer to just chill! He is a dedicated- to- his- person kind of guy. He loooooves car rides and the wind in his hair! contact irondawgs13@gmail.com for adoption application. He truly wants a yard with a fence, he loves to lay out and sunbathe, especially in cool weather.
