Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Harper from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 10 month old female Samoyed  mix.  I weigh approximately 28 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,695 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. Story
All About Me Name: Ash Age: 4 years old Gender: Male Neutered: Yes Microchip: Yes Breed: Husky Samoyed Mix Color: Cream Beige Weight: 25kg / 55 lbs Height (to shoulder): 65 cm   My Personality Hi, I’m Ash! There was a big rain when I was a young puppy. The torrent swallowed me and I was just being pushed by the current. A person who passed next to the river saw me and reported to the city worker. The city worker successfully rescued me from the water, and this is how I ended up at the city shelter. Since the city shelter can’t keep unclaimed dogs forever, I was up on the list to be euthanized with many other dogs. A warmhearted rescuer heard this heartbreaking news, and they decided to rescue me at the last minute. Thank you everyone for saving me! Here I am, the start of my new journey!   If my name makes you think of a soft, cozy winter day or a gentle ember glowing in the fire well, I think that describes me perfectly. I’m a big, fluffy guy with a calm presence, playful charm, and a heart full of love for people. I was just a tiny pup when I was rescued floating down a canal, all alone. Thankfully, I was saved and brought to safety. Since then, I’ve grown into a stunning and affectionate dog, always ready to make new friends. Despite my size, I have a gentle energy that never feels overwhelming. I love being around people whether we’ve just met or we’re longtime pals, I’ll greet you with a tail wag and soft nuzzle.   Social Skills - With People: I love attention, cuddles, and meeting new humans. Whether we’re lounging together or out for a stroll, I’m happiest by your side. Children? I’m a natural. I adore little ones and am gentle and patient around them. You can even lift me up (yes, all 25kg of me) I’ll stay calm and relaxed in your arms.   - With Other Dogs: I get along well with most dogs, whether they’re big, small, or somewhere in between. I do get excited and love to say hello. If another dog challenges me, I may bark back but I don’t take it further. I’m more about peace than conflict.   - With Cats: I haven’t met a cat face-to-face, but since I was rescued as a pup and have always been easygoing to other furry friends. I might do well with calm feline friends. A slow introduction would be best.   On My Walks‍ I’m an eager walker! I can pull on the leash a bit at the start. I just get excited but I’m also responsive to my person and love staying close. After a fun outing, I’m happy to rest and recharge. I also have great manners: I do my business outside   Life at Home At home, I’m gentle, clean, and surprisingly quiet for a big fluffy dog. I rarely bark. I don’t guard my food, whether around people or other dogs. You’ll find me calm in the car (though we’re still working on testing it more thoroughly). My striking looks often get attention some say I look like a blend of Husky and Samoyed, and I’ll admit, I do turn heads. But what matters most to me is not how I look, but who I get to love.   My Ideal Home I’d love to find a home where I’m treated like family a place where kindness, snuggles, and daily walks are part of the routine. Whether you’re an active person who enjoys outdoor adventures, or someone who just wants a calm and loyal companion, I’ll be right there beside you. I’m looking for: - A family who enjoys both play and quiet time - Someone who appreciates a gentle giant with a loving heart - A home that understands big dogs can be the biggest sweethearts   If you’re searching for a beautiful soul with a plush coat and an even softer heart, I might just be your perfect match. I’ve waited a long time for a home to call my own maybe it’s yours.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here! Ash’s Playlist ##2429898##
