Story
Disco was born January 7, 2020. Got him during the beginning of covid when I got back from deployment from a reputable breeder. He needs a lot of attention and grooming. He gets bored easily, therefore long walks or dog park adventures is required. He can become mischievous if he doesn’t have an outlet to release all his energy. He’s very friendly but can be rough at times. He doesn’t know his own strength and size sometimes, so it’s best to keep him away from tiny humans. He loves water and mud and loves to dig, best to keep an eye on him when off leashed. A bit stubborn but he shares the same amount of love to anyone that gives him pets and of course, treats.

Story
Imagine welcoming Milo🩵, a stunning 4-year-old Samoyed/husky, into your life!🤩 This loving and loyal companion thrives on one-on-one attention and training, and he's perfectly suited for an active partner who enjoys running, exploring, and spending quality time together. Yet, Milo also cherishes lazy days and snuggling with his favorite person. With a foundation in basic commands like sit, heel, down, stop, pull, no pulling, and come, Milo excels when working alongside his person😻. Due to reactivity to other dogs on walks, Milo flourishes in spacious environments with large yards or quieter settings where he can feel secure and relaxed. He needs a seasoned owner who understands reactive dogs and can offer structure, love, and guidance. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this special boy, submit your application today!🙏🐾 Currently being cared in BC, Canada, Milo can be transported to his forever home🏡 in the northern states like Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, or elsewhere within the continental United States where a loving family eagerly awaits.

Story
Meet Ongsimi — A Happy, Social Samoyed Puppy!   Name: Ongsimi Age: 6 months (Born March 4, 2026) Sex: Spayed Female Breed: Samoyed Color: White Weight: 12 kg (26 lbs) Height: 44 cm (17 in) at the shoulder   Rescue Story   Ongsimi was originally purchased from a pet shop but was surrendered when her previous owner felt that she had grown too large.   She was taken into care on June 15 and spent about two months in foster care before moving to the AKR Center, where she is now waiting for her forever family.   ‍‍‍ Social with People   Ongsimi is an outgoing, affectionate puppy who loves people. She happily approaches not only people she knows, but strangers as well, often leaning or rubbing against them for attention and pets.   She is comfortable with both men and women and has also done well with children under 13. She can be picked up with an arm supporting her belly, and once she feels comfortable with someone, she will even roll over and show her belly.   Social with Dogs   Ongsimi is very friendly and enthusiastic with other dogs. She readily approaches unfamiliar dogs to say hello and invite them to play.   She does especially well with dogs around her size or larger and enjoys playing with other high-energy dogs. With smaller dogs, she can sometimes be a little too friendly — even when another dog is clearly not interested, Ongsimi may continue trying to convince them to play. She is still a young puppy learning how to read other dogs’ boundaries and social cues.   Cats   Ongsimi has not yet been observed around cats. A cat test can be arranged upon request.   Energy Level   Ongsimi is still a puppy, so she is naturally curious, playful, and energetic. She needs sufficient daily exercise, play, and stimulation. Once she has had a chance to burn off her puppy energy, she settles down and sleeps comfortably.   Walks   Ongsimi walks very nicely for her age. She has not shown reactivity toward passing people, dogs, or vehicles. She generally follows her handler well and does not tend to pull on leash.   Other Behaviors   • No food guarding has been observed with either people or other dogs, although she may try to investigate or help herself to another dog’s food bowl.   • She can demand-bark when she wants something.   • When placed in a kennel/crate, she may whine initially but usually settles fairly quickly.   • She can get in and out of a car on her own.   • She currently uses both indoor pee pads and goes potty outdoors. As she is still a young puppy, she does need frequent potty breaks.   Ongsimi is a cheerful, affectionate, social young girl who loves both people and dogs. She would be a wonderful match for a family ready for the energy, training, and adventures that come with raising a young Samoyed.   She’s looking for a family who understands that she may grow quite a bit more — and who will love her just as much when she’s a big fluffy girl as they do today.
