Story
🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster home Samuel is a 2-year 8-month-old male Samoyed-Jindo mix, weighing 18.7 kg. At just six months old, Samuel was placed on the euthanasia list at a city shelter along with his sibling, Yuel. Thankfully, they were both rescued, and he is now staying at our training center, slowly regaining his trust in people and desperately hoping to start a new life with his forever family. Samuel’s personality is very gentle and non-aggressive. However, due to his traumatic past, he tends to be wary of strangers and takes time to warm up to new people. When he first arrived at our training center, he was very shy, but after a few days, he gradually opened up and revealed his naturally sweet and affectionate personality. Because he does not easily approach unfamiliar people and will require ample time and patience to adjust, extra care should be taken during walks to prevent any escape attempts, and household entryways should be securely managed until he fully bonds with his new family. Like a typical Jindo mix, Samuel has an independent streak. However, he also strongly exhibits the Samoyed’s affectionate nature and responsiveness to human connection. Once he builds trust, he expresses deep affection. Samuel gets along well with other dogs and has formed a particularly strong bond with his sibling, Yuel. Since they have spent so much time together, he may experience separation anxiety if they are apart, and this should be considered when adopting. He currently goes outside for bathroom breaks three times a day and enjoys running freely with his canine friends in the exercise yard. However, during the adjustment period in a new home, occasional accidents may occur. Once he settles in, he should quickly adapt to an outdoor potty routine again. It is recommended to start taking him on walks only after he has bonded with his new family. Due to his Jindo mix heritage, he has a strong homing instinct. If he is suddenly taken far away or travels by plane, he may become confused and instinctively try to find his way back home. To prevent this, walks should only begin after he fully recognizes his adopter as family. Even then, a double leash or harness is essential for safety. Samuel still carries emotional scars from his traumatic past and may be shy and cautious at first. However, for those that are willing to endure that initial period and patiently wait for his trust, Samuel will become the most loyal and loving lifelong companion.

Imagine welcoming Milo🩵, a stunning 4-year-old Samoyed/husky, into your life!🤩 This loving and loyal companion thrives on one-on-one attention and training, and he's perfectly suited for an active partner who enjoys running, exploring, and spending quality time together. Yet, Milo also cherishes lazy days and snuggling with his favorite person. With a foundation in basic commands like sit, heel, down, stop, pull, no pulling, and come, Milo excels when working alongside his person😻. Due to reactivity to other dogs on walks, Milo flourishes in spacious environments with large yards or quieter settings where he can feel secure and relaxed. He needs a seasoned owner who understands reactive dogs and can offer structure, love, and guidance. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this special boy, submit your application today!🙏🐾 Currently being cared in BC, Canada, Milo can be transported to his forever home🏡 in the northern states like Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, or elsewhere within the continental United States where a loving family eagerly awaits.

Story
Meet Lola — a 3-year-old, 66-lb fluffy, drop-dead gorgeous gray/tan/white Malamute babe who looks like she stepped straight out of a shampoo commercial and into your heart. Lola is the kind of girl who runs right up to you with kisses, loose happy vibes, and zero hesitation about making new friends. She’s curious, sweet, and serves extremely cute head tilts when she hears something interesting (which is honestly most things). She was calm and cooperative for all her intake care, happily exploring and soaking in the world around her like the soft-spoken explorer she is.True to her name, Lola is gentle, a little sensitive (she can be head shy), and much prefers cozy over chaos. Loud vehicles? Not her jam. Snuggling up in a calm home where she can relax, decompress, and fully blossom? Absolutely yes. She’s been pretty quiet in the shelter, but don’t let that fool you — this girl is clearly meant to be someone’s gorgeous sidekick, living her best “whatever Lola wants” life on a comfy couch instead of a kennel. If you’re looking for a sweet, fluffy soulmate with movie-star looks and a tender heart, Lola is ready to come home and get cozy with you! The dog adoption fee is $110. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510.
