Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Female basset mix with Dachshunds and Friends Rescue Lola is not a GGBR dog. She is a courtesy listing for Dachshunds and Friends Rescue in Burbank, CA. Lola is currently fostering in Northern California. Sadly, despite being a lovable dog, Lola has been without a permanent home for over a year. She is up for adoption and looking for a family to call her own. With her sweet personality and playful nature, she's sure to be a wonderful addition to any household. She is around 4-5 years old. Fully vaccinated and spayed.  Potential adopters should know that Lola is a hound mix with a strong sense of curiosity and a mischievous streak. She's highly food motivated and will need some training and patience to help her overcome her impulsive behavior. However, with the right guidance and plenty of love, Lola has the potential to be an amazing companion. She really is a handful. Lola came from the streets of Mexico and had been exposed to distemper and although she is in great health, she only has 4 teeth left in her mouth. She has no problem eating dry food and is very food motivated.  In addition to being house-trained and crate-trained, Lola is also working on her leash training. She's a social dog who loves spending time with her people and cuddling up for affection. With her endless enthusiasm and heartwarming smile, Lola is a true gem that anyone would be lucky to have in their lives. Lola is very picky about her dog friends. She should be introduced extremely slowly or, ideally, she would do better as an only dog (she is fine with kitties). Lola absolutely loves kids, but because of her grabbiness with food, she would be best suited for a home with older children.  If you're interested in adopting Lola, please contact Dachshunds and Friends for more information. With your help, Lola can find the forever home she deserves and continue spreading joy and love to everyone around her. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Female basset hound mixBella’s owner, who has provided good care for her, needs to surrender Bella because of her increasing work responsibilities. Bella is a 49-pound spayed female, approximately 6+ years old and is a basset mixed with some other breed. She is up to date on all her vetting, house trained, microchipped,  and is in good health. Bella is shy and fearful of strangers, at first, but after warming  up, she loves attention and affection. She is hesitant around other dogs, slowly becoming comfortable and might play a little, but otherwise keeps to herself. Bella pulls when on leash and barks and lunges at other dogs when on the leash with her owner. She is best with dogs of similar size or larger and has never had issues with other dogs when attending day care. She has no experience with cats nor much experience with children. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 25, 2024, 10:57 pm
