Photo of Gilbert

Male, Young
Indianapolis, IN
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Gilbert is a sweet lil guy who was found wandering the streets in really cold weather. He quickly adjusts to love in your lap and belly rubs. He is young and full of hound dog energy. He already thinks of himself as a royal prince and comes with his own brand of confidence. Because Gilbert was a stray we are not sure how he would do around children, but since he is young we suspect he would adjust. He is highly treat motivated and attentive, so he would look forward to training time. He has quickly made friends with the other dogs in the house. Due to his overbearing form of curiosity for female dogs, he would need to go to a house with other male dogs that would match his energy. Gilbert's favorite music band is the BEAGLES, he would love to listen and dance along side you. Will you be Gilbert's dance partner? *Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy *Please visit website for how to adopt: *Please note that we do not operate on a first come first served basis.

Beagle Basset Hound

Male, Adult
Indianapolis, IN
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Spayed or Neutered,
Bart’s father was ill and then developed dementia. He is currently in hospice. I rescue dogs whose owners are about to pass away or have passed away and have no one to whom they can leave their pups. Bart is sweep, loyal, and gentle. He loves to be in the yard, but he also loves to sleep. He’s a bit of a couch potato. Any family would be lucky to have Bart join their family.
