Meet Leeta, our newest little arrival with the sweetest soul. Leeta came to us from another shelter where she was understandably very scared. Since arriving, she has slowly begun to blossom, showing us her gentle and affectionate side. While she’s making wonderful progress, she is still timid with new people and unfamiliar situations and will need a patient, understanding home to help her continue building confidence. Leeta appears to be a beagle mix — and like many beagles, she enjoys following her nose! A securely fenced yard is preferred to keep this curious girl safe while she explores. Because she is still shy and adjusting, Leeta would do best in a quiet home without young children. Like most young pups, Jace will need training, consistency, and patience to help him learn all the things great dogs are known for. He appears to love people and may do well with other dogs. True to his breed, Jace follows his nose wherever it leads, so a securely fenced yard will be important to keep him safe from wandering adventures. At this time, we’re unsure how he is with children.
