LOCATION: YUKON, OK ADOPTABLE ANYWHERE IN THE USA Lyla is a 6 year old Basset/Dachshund mix, which means short legs, a long body, and a nose that runs the whole operation. Supervised time outside is a sniffing expedition, and every patch of grass gets a full investigation. Once her work is done, she heads straight for the couch. Her foster calls her chill and says she loves couch naps and cuddles. It’s about 40 pounds of cuddle on very short legs, and she knows exactly how to use all of it. She’s good with other dogs, and she’s spent time around older kids without issue. She knows sit, and if you point at her and say “bang,” she lies down. She’s very proud of it. LOCATION: FT GIBSON, OK ADOPTABLE ANYWHERE IN THE USA Meet Denny, a 4 month old beagle mix who was dumped in rural Oklahoma with his sister and has been making the best of it ever since. He’s 28 pounds of puppy, already neutered, and ready to learn everything. Denny can be timid with new people at first, but he comes around fine. He does well with other dogs and has spent time around a 10 year old, so kid energy is nothing new to him. He has strong opinions about cats and will bark to share them, so a cat-free home is the best fit. He’s still a work in progress, and that’s the fun part. House training is underway, crate training hasn’t started, and he knows “here” and heads to his kennel for meals. He’s a blank slate with a beagle nose, a cute face, and a lot of heart. LOCATION: EDMOND, OK ADOPTABLE ANYWHERE IN THE USA Buster is a 3 year old, 26 lb Beagle with his tongue always out and a tail that never stops. He sleeps through car rides and has a beautiful bay bark he's happy to share. What Buster loves more than anything is sniffing. He will happily spend his time investigating every square inch of your house and yard with his nose. Buster is great with other dogs and loves to play with them. He's been around kids ages 3 and 4, enjoys walks, and goes nuts for squeaky toys. Buster has lived outside his whole life, so indoor life is brand new to him. He's still figuring out indoor manners and routines, and he'll do best with an adopter who is happy to show him the ropes with some patience and consistency. Everything he needs to learn, he can learn with a good teacher.
