This sweet Beagle enjoys affection and loves treats, making him a delightful companion for those willing to give him time and patience. Jax walks well on a leash, knows basic commands, and appears to be potty trained, showing he’s well-mannered and eager to please. His easy-going energy level means he would fit perfectly into a calm and understanding household where he can continue to build trust and feel secure. Story
I have raised Zeus from 6 weeks old to the age of 9 over the past decade and love him more than I can ever express. We are moving to a new home and he sheds too much for us to control anymore at this point and I would rather him go to a home where he can be happy than stay with me in a tiny location in our new house, as much as it hurts it's what is best for him.

Story
Baker is a lovely companion who loves cuddles and treats. He is potty/crate trained. Baker would fit best in a house with older kids as he is very hyper. Baker can escape a chain link fence so he will need a privacy fence. Baker loves attention and playing with his toys.

Story
Hi everyone! My name is George, and I’m a sweet beagle with a big heart and an even bigger love for making friends! I absolutely adore being around other dogs and would be so happy to have a furry friend to play and explore with. One of my favorite things to do is play ball - I could enjoy playtime all day long! I’m a friendly, affectionate boy who loves being around people and sharing lots of love and happy moments. I’m looking for a family who will give me plenty of playtime, cuddles, adventures, and, of course, lots of opportunities to show them just how sweet I am. I can’t wait to meet my forever family! 🏡 My Home’s Requirements: Another friendly dog in the home is required. I thrive with a canine companion by my side! 📍 My Location: INDIANAPOLIS, IN Please note: Third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed above! Beagle Freedom Project facilitates out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter can travel to the animal’s current location for pickup. If you’re interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ For questions, email the Beagle Freedom Project team at: adopt@bfp.org About Beagle Freedom Project: Beagle Freedom Project is the world’s leading organization for rescuing and rehoming animals used in experimental research. Story
Hi, I’m Flo! 💕 I’m a very sweet and gentle girl who is still learning about this big, new world around me. I’m a little shy and timid, so I may need some extra time and patience to feel comfortable, but once I do, I know I’ll blossom! One of my favorite things right now is being outside. I love having the freedom to explore, take in all the new sights and smells, and just enjoy being a dog. When I’m inside, I’m still figuring out how to relax and feel safe, so I may be a little unsure at first. I’m looking for a patient family who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let me go at my own pace. 🏡 My Home’s Requirements: Another friendly dog in the home is required. Story
Hi, I’m Bebe! I’ve spent my whole life outside, so this big new world is still something I’m learning about. But after so many years without a home to call my own, I’m ready for someone to give me a chance. I’m a sweet, gentle girl who also enjoys the company of other dogs. My friends at BFP are still getting to know me and discovering exactly what kind of home will help me shine, but I’m already hoping my next chapter includes a soft place to sleep, lots of love, and maybe even a furry friend or two. 📍 My Location: NOWATA, OK Please note: Third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. Hi, I’m Jimbo! 🐾 I’ve spent my entire life living outside, so I may not know what it’s like to have a cozy bed, a warm home, or a family of my own, but I’m ready to find out! Story
LOCATION: TULSA, OK ADOPTABLE ANYWHERE IN THE USA. Phoebe is a young Basset Hound with more energy than her short legs would suggest. She's housebroken, loves people, and will greet total strangers like they're old friends. She's obsessed with balls and rubber toys and would happily play until her ears drag on the ground. Phoebe is still very much a puppy at heart- she has all the usual puppy behaviors, including zero concept of personal space when she's excited. She's done well her foster sibling but does need to be fed separately from other dogs. Phoebe would do best with an adopter who is ready for fun and has the time to work on manners- someone who can channel all that enthusiasm into training rather than a bouncing off the walls! helplesshounds.com/adopt

Story
Daisy is an 8 year old Basset Hound in Oklahoma who's friendly with strangers, great with other dogs, and has lived alongside kids of all ages without incident. She currently shares a property with horses, chickens, and cattle without drama, so livestock isn't a dealbreaker. Cats are a different story though- they're too fun to chase so we don't recommend a home with them! Daisy needs a securely fenced yard to keep her contained, Storms and loud noises scare her. Daisy is looking for someone willing to show her what it's like to be a part of a family. Give her a soft bed, a little patience, a reason to stay, and she'll spend the rest of her life making sure you never regret it!! helplesshounds.com/adoption-application
