Ogena (A565135) arrived as a stray, and we are honestly surprised no one has come looking for him yet. He carries himself like a dog who has known home life before. He appears to be at least partially potty trained and does a great job holding his bladder, which makes us think he was someone’s well loved companion at one point.Outside, Ogena really comes to life. He’s spunky, playful, and full of curiosity, trotting around the play yards like a true gentleman. He loves taking in all the sights and smells, walks nicely on a leash, and already knows the command “sit.” While he is still young and has energy to burn, he has good manners and typically keeps all four paws on the ground instead of jumping up for attention.Ogena has been tested with female dogs and did okay, though he can be a bit impolite at times. A confident female dog who isn’t afraid to correct him would likely be a great match. Overall, Ogena is a good boy with a lot of potential who is just waiting for a family to call his own. If you’re looking for a playful, well mannered companion, come meet Ogena today. ????Ogena is guesstimated to be 7 months old and weighs 44 bs. All dogs adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are spayed/ neutered, microchipped, dewormed, appropriately vaccinated, and receive a topical 90-day flea/ tick preventative.Ready to meet Ogena? All you have to do is stop by our shelter at 4950 Triana Blvd and head to our dog areas. You can find him in kennel D45. All adopters must be 19 years or older with a valid ID
