**Note: Currently, Popi is in Korea, but will fly to Vancouver once adopted. Background Popi was rescued this fall from a cow farm. He had been kept there as a guard dog, chained with very little food or care. The short chain made every day hard for him. Even so, whenever he saw our volunteer walk by, his tail would start wagging. We tried for a long time to convince the owner to surrender him. Finally the owner agreed and we were able to bring Popi to our partner boarding house, where he now lives with other dogs. Personality and Socialization Popi has been loving and gentle from the very start. Even at the farm he showed nothing but kindness, greeting every person with a wagging tail. He was never suited to be a guard dog because he would happily greet anyone who passed by. He enjoys the company of other dogs and does well with them. He simply prefers dogs who are gentle and friednly. If a dog is overly loud, pushy or too energetic, he quietly walks away. Popi is affectionate, friendly and steady in his temperament. Behaviours Popi has been wonderful in every setting. He is polite, smart and eager to please. He does well in the car, during bath time and at the vet. He enjoys walks, though he may pull a little when he gets excited. He does not like being locked in a cage, but aside from that he has shown no separation anxiety and has been consistently well behaved. Health and Diet Popi is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He has been dewormed and receives monthly parasite prevention. He eats dry food twice a day and has shown no signs of allergies. Ideal Home Popi has a sweet and balanced personality with a medium energy level. He would be a wonderful match for many families, whether it is a first time dog parent or a home with another gentle dog. His ideal home is one where someone works from home or is retired so he does not have to be alone for long hours. He loves people and thrives on companionship. Popi is smart, loyal and easy to love. **Note: Currently, Moopasa is in Korea but he will fly to Vancouver once adopted. Background Moopasa is a sweet and gentle boy who was rescued this past summer from a city pound in Milyang. Since then, he has been living safely and happily with other dogs at our partner boarding house. Personality & Socialization With a medium energy level, Moopasa is friendly, affectionate, and easygoing. He greets visitors warmly and quickly feels comfortable once he senses kindness. At first, he may approach slowly and carefully, but as soon as he feels safe, his playful and loving personality shines through. Moopasa gets along well with other dogs as long as they are gentle and friendly. He doesn't like dogs very bossy, dominant or hyper. Behaviours Moopasa loves gentle playtime and quiet moments with his dog friends. He’s calm, well-mannered, and enjoys being close to people he trusts. He takes his bathroom breaks outdoors but will also use indoor pads if needed. Moopasa rides well in the car and handles baths without any fuss. He’s still getting used to leash walking, but in a home environment, he tends to follow his people around faithfully. He’s quiet, polite, and has not shown any destructive habits. Health & Diet Moopasa is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He’s dewormed and receives monthly parasite prevention. He maintains a healthy weight on a regular diet and eats dry food twice a day. Ideal Home Moopasa would do best in a loving home where he isn’t left alone for long stretches. He’d be happiest with someone who works from home or is retired, so he can enjoy plenty of attention and companionship. He loves calm walks and a gentle daily routine, and he adores his humans.
