Buzz is a sensitive and shy dog who takes time to open up, but once he feels safe and secure, he’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loyal. Buzz has a soft spot for those who take the time to understand his anxious nature and provide the quiet lifestyle he craves. Buzz can be easily overwhelmed in new environments and around unfamiliar faces, so a calm, low-stress home would be ideal for him. He thrives in a space with a small, close-knit circle of friends and finds comfort in a predictable routine. Although he can be timid at first, Buzz’s love grows once he’s bonded with someone, and he’ll happily shower you with wiggly hellos. At the shelter, Buzz has made a couple friends with the other dogs and may do best in a home with a confident dog buddy who can show him that the world isn’t so scary. His perfect adopter will be patient, kind, and willing to give him the time and understanding he needs to truly shine. Buzz will not match well in a home with children, so please no kiddos. Meet Butterscotch, a Pomeranian mix! This fluffy boy is about 4 years old (estimated his age by his teeth, as he came to us as a stray). Butterscotch is quite the looker, with an irresistibly soft, fluffy coat and an adorable, signature Pom curly tail. He is pretty tall for a pom at 15 lbs (hence the mix!). His arrival story is as unique as he is: a Good Samaritan found him when he confidently hopped right into their car! After a quick bath, they brought him straight to us so we could try to find his previous owner. Here's the great newshe's a perfect gentleman! During his brief time with his finder, he was reportedly very well behaved in the house, had no accidents, and waited patiently to go potty outside. He even enjoyed his car ride to the shelter, and he thinks he's the star of the show here (he is)! Butterscotch is ready to start his new life with you if no one claims him by 10/29. He is scheduled to be neutered on November 4th and will be ready to go home the day afterward. Don't wait! Apply for Butterscotch today to schedule a meet and greet.
