With a name like Marshmellow, you'd expect her to be sweet — and this fluffy girl absolutely delivers!
Meet Marshmellow, a beautiful 3-year-old, 27-pound American Eskimo with a big personality and an even bigger love for her people. After spending her first three years as a cherished indoor family dog, she now finds herself looking for a new home through no fault of her own. And she's ready to bring all that love and companionship to her next family! ❤️
💕 Your Very Own Fluffy Shadow
Marshmellow LOVES her people! She's happiest when she's near you, beside you, or curled up right in your lap.
She absolutely adores being petted, and when she thinks the attention has stopped a little too soon, she'll gently reach out with a paw to request more. It's her adorable way of reminding you that there's always room for one more cuddle!
🧠 Smart, Talented, and Ready to Impress!
Marshmellow has brains to go along with all that beauty!
She already knows several commands, including sit, down, paw, kennel, and even dance! She's also house-trained and crate-trained.
And when nature calls? Marshmellow knows how to communicate! She'll head to the door or give you a little paw to let you know it's time to go outside.
🐾 Adventures, Playtime, and a Little Splashing Around!
Marshmellow loves being outdoors, especially when she gets the chance to run. And this girl is FAST!
She enjoys walks, playtime, exploring, and spending time around water.
Just don't confuse her enthusiasm for water with a love of baths. Marshmellow would like it officially noted that recreational water and bath time are two VERY different things. 😂
🐶 Getting Along With Others
Marshmellow has lived successfully in a multi-dog household and generally does well with other dogs when properly introduced. She's also reportedly good with children!
Her compatibility with cats is still unknown.
There are a couple of things her future family should know:
🐾 Marshmellow is a talker! She enjoys expressing herself, so a house would be a better fit than an apartment where close neighbors might not appreciate her commentary.
🍽️ She prefers to enjoy her meals separately from other pets. Her family will need to provide a dedicated feeding space where she can eat comfortably without other animals approaching her food.
❤️ A Little Extra Care
Marshmellow requires a prescription urinary diet for life to help maintain her health. Her future family will need to continue this special diet, and our team can provide more information about her dietary needs.
It's an important part of keeping this sweet girl healthy and happy, but it certainly doesn't slow down her enthusiasm for life!
🏡 Marshmellow's Perfect Match
Marshmellow would love a family who appreciates an affectionate, playful, clever companion who wants to be part of everyday life.
She'll thrive with people who enjoy spending time with their dog, can provide regular exercise and enrichment, and are happy to make room for a fluffy shadow who loves attention.
A home with space to play, a consistent routine, and plenty of opportunities for cuddles would make this girl very happy!
