Story
Luka is a 4y/o American Eskimo and Australian Shepherd mix. We got Luka when he was a puppy as a friend for other dog, Mercedes. Luka is smart, loving, and very sweet. He’s been through basic command training and knows sit, wait, lie down, kennel, and load up. He’s been house-trained and is eager to please. Luka and Mercedes have recently developed dominance issues between themselves. This resulted in some behavioral issues with Luka as he attempted to assert his dominance against her. To maintain order in the house, Luka has been confined to his kennel when he’s inside, and has to be let out separately from Mercedes. I don’t have the knowledge or time needed to work with Luka to help resolve these issues between them, and that will not change in the near future. Luka is a good boy with a good heart, and we want him to go to a home with owners who can dedicate the time necessary to working with him and help him overcome his anxiety, reactivity, and territorial issues.
