💙 Everyone, meet Cole! This handsome throwback-style Pomeranian is estimated to be 4 to 5 years old, weighs approximately 15 pounds, and has a personality that is simply contagious! 🥰
Cole has never met a stranger. ❤️ Everyone is his friend, and he greets life with a joyful, puppy-like enthusiasm that is truly a delight to watch. His happy-go-lucky attitude, adaptability, and wide-open heart are rare, and he brings smiles wherever he goes.
🐶 Cole loves people.
🐾 He absolutely adores other dogs.
🧠 He learns quickly and already knows a few basic commands.
🚗 He rides beautifully in the car.
🛏️ He does well in both a crate and a playpen.
✂️ Grooming? No problem! He's a wonderful boy for baths and grooming.
💦 One of Cole's greatest loves is WATER! 💦
Whether it's splashing in a kiddie pool, swimming in a backyard pool, heading to the beach, exploring a lake, or spending the day on a boat, Cole is all in! 🚤🌊🏖️
He's the kind of dog who would happily put on his little life jacket, jump on the boat, and spend the day making memories with his family. While a water-loving home isn't required, it would certainly be a dream come true for this adventurous little guy! 🛟🐾
⚡ Like many young Pomeranians, Cole has moderate to high energy and is looking for an active family that understands small dogs still need plenty of exercise, enrichment, and playtime.
Cole has not shown any destructive behaviors. However, energetic dogs that don't receive enough physical activity and mental stimulation can become bored over time. We want to set him up for success by finding a family that will keep his happy little mind and body busy! 🥎🎾🐕
🏡 Our ideal home for Cole:
🏠 Homeowners will receive first consideration.
🌳 A securely fenced backyard is preferred. We will consider townhomes with securely fenced yards for the right family.
👨👩👧👦 Children should be 7 years of age or older.
🚸 Homes with children must have a securely fenced yard.
🐶 We'd love for Cole to have another friendly dog close to his size to play with and keep him company but this is not required he can be an only dog too.
🐱 We don't have any history with cats, but based on his rural background, we believe he will likely do well with respectful cats.
🏊 Homes with pools are welcome! We simply ask that there be plenty of grassy yard space for Cole to run and play. We do not place dogs in homes with unfenced pools that have dog doors.
🌿 We do not adopt to "concrete jungle" environments where dogs have little access to safe grassy exercise areas.
♿ Because Cole loves to stay close to his people and can get underfoot, we are unable to consider homes where mobility devices such as walkers, wheelchairs, or scooters are regularly used. This is simply for everyone's safety.
🚽 Cole is still working on his house training and is currently recovering nicely from his neuter surgery. ❤️
📅 Cole will be available for adoption after July 6th, but we are accepting applications now!
📍 Cole is being fostered in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Because we expect him to be highly adoptable, we will initially give priority to homeowners within approximately a three-hour driving radius of Virginia Beach.
